Augmented Reality(AR)is a new mode of interactive media that is becoming increasingly popular.Few universities,however,offer courses specifically in AR.This raises questions on appropriate teaching paradigms for this ...Augmented Reality(AR)is a new mode of interactive media that is becoming increasingly popular.Few universities,however,offer courses specifically in AR.This raises questions on appropriate teaching paradigms for this fast-developing area.This paper,therefore,discusses current challenges for teaching AR including a shortage of teaching staff,segmented teaching materials,and theory-driven assessment methods.As such,we present several strategies currently used in the AR technology and application course at Xiamen University.To improve teaching performance,we introduced part-time tutors who are currently employed within the AR industry.Furthermore,we improved the systematic presentation of our course materials to allow an integrative understanding of them.Students developed AR projects using Huawei,the most popular mobile platform in China.This paper concludes that students who underwent this teaching paradigm developed effective skills and knowledge in AR and successfully advanced their careers.展开更多

文摘The comprehensive reform of“three-wide education”is important to achieve inheritance and innovation in ideological education in colleges and universities.The Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology aims to address the practical problems of a weak ideological education team,incomplete system and mechanism,and insufficient resource mobilization in“three-wide education.”It actively explores the“three-wide education”based on the university’s existing foundation and advantages.Comprehensive,innovative ideas for reform,practice,and promotion of unique practices and paths are necessary,to continuously deepen education reforms and strive to build a new“three-wide education”work pattern to help the country’s modern talent cultivation work.
文摘In today’s rapidly changing society,higher education is facing an urgent need to cultivate talents with innovative spirit and entrepreneurial ability.As the requirement of adapting to the development of the era,innovation and entrepreneurship education has gradually become one of the important directions of teaching reform in colleges and universities.This article aims to explore its role and significance in improving the quality of education,cultivating students’comprehensive quality,and promoting social and economic development through in-depth research on the teaching reform practice in colleges and universities based on innovation and entrepreneurship education.The research will focus on the practical cases of innovation and entrepreneurship education in different universities,combining qualitative and quantitative research methods,from multiple dimensions such as curriculum design,teaching mode,and practice platform construction,to comprehensively analyze the scope and methods of innovation and entrepreneurship education in the teaching reform of universities,in order to provide useful guidelines for the reform of higher education.
