Some studies showed that the quantity of the photogenerated carriers charge increases with the increase of the solar illumination. This situation explains the choice of concentration PV cell (C = 50 suns) in this study. However, the strong photogeneration of the carriers charge causes a high heat production by thermalization, collision and carriers charge braking due to the electric field induced by concentration gradient. This heat brings the heating of the PV cell base. That imposes the taking into account of the temperature influence in the concentrator PV cell operation. Moreover, with the proliferation of the magnetic field sources in the life space, it is important to consider its effect on the PV cell performances. Thus, when magnetic field and base temperature increase simultaneously, we observe a deterioration of the photovoltage, the electric power, the space charge region capacity, the fill factor and the conversion efficiency. However the photocurrent increases when the base temperature increases and the magnetic field strength decreases. It appears an inversion phenomenon in the evolution of the electrical parameters as a function of magnetic field for the values of magnetic field B> 4×10-4 T.展开更多

In this study, novel indices of the light field camera were proposed to investigate the directional and spatial sampling characteristics of the flame radiation. Effects of light field camera parameters such as focal length and magnification of the main lens, focal length and magnification of the microlens were investigated. It was observed that the sampling characteristics of the flame are varied with the different parameters of the light field camera. The optimized parameters of the light field camera were then proposed for the flame radiation sampling. The larger sampling angle(23 times larger) is achieved by the optimized parameters compared to the commercial light field camera parameters. A non-negative least square(NNLS) algorithm was used to reconstruct the flame temperature. The reconstruction accuracy was also evaluated by the optimized parameters. The results suggested that the optimized parameters can provide higher reconstruction accuracy for axisymmetric and non-symmetric flame conditions in comparison to the commercial light field camera.展开更多

For the foregoing reasons, the 80 ℃ temperature field distribution of thick plate multi-pass welding was analyzed with SYSWELD.The influence of welding groove form and time interval on welding temperature field was also analyzed. Results showed that the range of 80 ℃ welding temperature field increased with the increasing of weld layers at first and then it inclined to stable value. Interpass time setting was crucial to control the range of 80 ℃ welding temperature field. It was also found that double V groove had better thermal diffusivity than double-bevel groove. And double-bevel groove was better than single V groove.展开更多

文摘Building energy consumption and building carbon emissions both account for more than 20%of their total national values in China.Building employing phase change material(PCM)for passive temperature control shows a promising prospect in meeting the comfort demand and reducing energy consumption simultaneously. However, there is a lack of more detailed research on the interaction between the location and thickness of PCM and indoor natural convection,as well as indoor temperature distribution. In this study, the numerical model of a passive temperature-controlled building integrating the developed PCM module is established with the help of ANSYS.In which, the actual weather condition of Beijing city is set as the boundary conditions and the indoor natural convection is simulated with the consideration of radiation model. The effects of PCM’s thickness and location on the internal temperature field are analyzed and discussed. The results show that the room could maintain within the human comfort temperature range with the longest ratio of 94.10%and the shortest ratio of 51.04%as integrating PCM.In comparison, the value is only 26.70%without PCM.The room’s maximum temperature fluctuation can also be improved;it could be lowered by 64.4%compared to the normal condition. When the quantity of PCM is sufficient, further increasing the PCM amount results in a temperature fluctuation reduction of less than 0.1°C and does not increase the comfort time.Placing PCM on the wall induces an apparent variation in indoor temperature along the vertical direction.Conversely, placing PCM on the roof can lead to a heat transfer rate difference of up to seven times. The optimal placement of PCM depends on the difference between the environmental and phase change temperatures. If the difference is positive, placing PCM on the roof is more effective;conversely, the opposite holds.According to the results over the entire cycle,PCM application on vertical walls yields better performance. The significant difference in natural convection caused by the same thickness of PCM but different application positions, coupled with the influence of air movement on the melting and solidification of PCM,further impacts indoor temperature fluctuations and comfort. This study can provide guidance for the application location and thickness of PCM,especially for scenarios where temperature regulation is required at a specific time.
文摘Complicated changns occur inside the steel parts during quenching process. The abruptly changed boundary conditions make the temperature field, micro - structure and stress field change dramatically in very short time, and these variables take a contact interactions in the whole process. In this paper, a three dimensional non - linear mathematical model for queeching process has been founded and the numerical simulation on temperature field, microstructre and stress field has been realized. In the FEM analysis, the incremental iteration method is used to deal with such complicated nonlinear as boundary nonlinear, physical property nonlinear, transformation nonlinear etc.The effect of stress on transformation kinetics has been considered in the calculation of microstructure. In the stress field anal- ysis,a thermo- elasto - plastic model has been founded, which considers such factors as transforma- tion strain, transformation plastic strain, themal strain and the effect of temperature and transforma- tion on mechanical propertier etc. The transient temperature field, microstructure distribution and stress field of the roller on any time can be displayed vividly, and the cooling curve and the changes of stress on any position can also be given.
文摘To improve the mechanical properties of the parts fabricated by Laser Direct Metal Shaping(LDMS),it is of great significance to understand the distribution regularities of transient temperature field during LDMS process.Based on the“el- ement birth and death”technique of finite element method,a three-dimensional multi-track and multi-layer model for the transient temperature field analysis of LDMS is developed by ANSYS Parametric Design Language(APDL)for the first time.In the fab- ricated modal,X-direction parallel reciprocating scanning paths is introduced.Using the same process parameters, the simulation results show good agreement with the microstructure features of samples which fabricated by LDMS.
文摘This paper has analyzed the influences of the heat input of welding arc, the latent heat of solidifica- tion, fluid flow of liquid metal on the heat conductivity pertaining to welding solidification crack of stainless steels. As a result, two - dimensional heat conduction models with prescribed heat flux mov- ing along the the have been developed that can simulate welding arc, convection and radiation heat loss from top and bottom surfaces of the workpiece. Finally, the finite element model was used to ana- lyze and calculate the temperature field.

文摘To study the distribution characteristics and variation regularity of the temperature field during the process of seepage freezing,a simulated-freezing test with seepage of Xuzhou sand was completed by using a model test developed in-house equipment.By means of three group freezing tests with different seepage velocities,we discovered the phenomenon of the asymmetry of the temperature field under the influence of seepage. The temperature upstream was obviously higher than that downstream. The temperature gradient upstream was also steeper than that downstream. With a higher seepage velocity, the asymmetry of the temperature field is more pronounced. The asymmetry for the interface temperature profile is more strongly manifest than for the main surface temperature profile. The cryogenic barrier section is somewhat"heartshaped".With the increasing velocity of the seepage flow, the cooling rate of the soil decreases. It takes much time to reach the equilibrium state of the soil mass.In our study, seepage flow velocities of 0 m/d,7.5 m/d,and 15 m/d showed the soilcooling rate of 4.35°C/h,4.96°C/h,and 1.72°C/h,respectively.
文摘A three-dimensional transient heat transfer model for laser transformation hardening process has been developed in this paper. The finite size of the laser treated sample, the surface heat loss of the sample, the latent heat of phase transformation and the temperature dependence of thermal properties of materials were considered. The heat source was considered as a moving Gaussian heat flux with a constant velocity. Three-dimension unequally spatial grid explicit finite difference equations, alternating direction implicit finite difference equations and implicit finite difference equations were deduced respectively. Three programs to calculate the temperature field were developed using Fortran language. The transient temperature fields of C22, 42CrMo, C60 steel samples during laser transformation hardening process were calculated using these programs, and the widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones were also predicted. C22, 42CrMo, C60 steel samples were treated by CO2 laser, the widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones of these samples were also measured experimentally. The calculated widths and depths of laser transformation hardening zones are in good agreement with the experimental results.

文摘It is essential to investigate the light field camera parameters for the accurate flame temperature measurement because the sampling characteristics of the flame radiation can be varied with them. The results suggested that the optimized parameters can provide higher reconstruction accuracy for axisymmetric and non-symmetric flame conditions in comparison to the commercial light field camera.
文摘The model established in this paper for calculating the unsteady temperature field, in which physical parameters varies with temperatures, is simplified as compared with the classical one by defining the heat conductivity as function of temperature and dealing with the latent heat of phase transformation and boundary conditions. The results show that the probability of absolute error less 2℃ between the calculated and measured values in temperature field calculation reaches above 80%.

文摘This work presented the development and validation of an analytical method to predict the transient temperature field in the asphalt pavement. The governing equation for heat transfer was based on heat conduction radiation and convection. An innovative time-dependent function was proposed to predict the pavement surface temperature with solar radiation and air temperature using dimensional analysis in order to simplify the complex heat exchange on the pavement surface. The parameters for the time-dependent pavement surface temperature function were obtained through the regression analysis of field measurement data.Assuming that the initial pavement temperature distribution was linear and the influence of the base course materials on the temperature of the upper asphalt layers was negligible,a close-form analytical solution of the temperature in asphalt layers was derived using Green's function. Finally, two numerical examples were presented to validate the model solutions with field temperature measurements.Analysis results show that the solution accuracy is in agreement with field data and the relative errors at a shallower depth are greater than those at a deeper one.Although the model is not sensitive to dramatic changes in climatic factors near the pavement surface,it is applicable for predicting pavement temperature field in cloudless days.

文摘The PPG PITT-CHAR XP flame retardant system has been used by COOEC to preventing the thermal softening of steel in the high temperature, whose degradation temperature is 80 ℃.To prevent damage to PPG PITT-CHAR XP fire retardant paint from excessive heat during welding,it is necessary to get accurately reserved area near the welding joints prior to welding. And double-bevel groove was better than single V groove.
