It is important for both scholars and policymakers to review the characteristics of China's economy in its present stage in accordance with economic principles-principles that reflect every aspect of economic and social life and macroeconomic regulation. In this paper, we attempt to unravel the characteristics of China's new era from three perspectives-historical materialism, dialectic materialism and epistemology, and in light of economic principles at the three levels of resource factors, modes of production and regulation of resource allocation. Based on these perspectives, this paper further identifies the characteristics of China's new era from nine aspects, including globalization, modernization, the primary stage of socialism, new development concepts, supply-side reforms, the guideline of seeking steady progress, the mentality of scope, bottomline mindset and strategic composure. From the three different levels, this paper summarizes and applies economic principles to propose solutions to the problems and challenges facing China in the new era. 文摘Labor quality evaluation,an important part for carrying out labor education,plays the role as“baton”for labor education.This paper will figure out the reasons for labor quality evaluation from its importance.The paper will also classify key evaluation indicators for labor qualities as cognition,emotion,ability and qualities of labor,dividing dynamic indicators to figure out“what to evaluate”.Meanwhile,the author will solve the problem of“how to evaluate”and“who will evaluate”by promoting evaluation subjects diversities and innovating evaluation methods.When labor quality evaluation,the“baton”,guides the direction and strategy,attention should be paid to integrated education to cultivate labor quality in an all-round way.The“baton”will also guide characteristic education with collaborative innovation of labor education,professional education and vocational education.Moreover,labor quality evaluation guides the optimization of resources to create integrated labor qualities and lead innovation education to nurture innovative talents.

文摘Since the 18 th CPC National Congress,the Party Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core,has formed Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics( Xi's TSCC) for a New Era in the process of upholding and developing the great practice of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics( SCC). As an important part of Xi's TSCC for a new era, cultural thought takes the persistence of cultural confidence as its basic foundation,t he promotion of outstanding traditional culture as its important measure,the enhancement of cultural soft power as its strategic goal,t he cultivation &practice of core socialist values as its guide, and the improvement of clean government culture as its fundamental significance,t hus constituting a scientific system with complete structure, rich content and rigorous exposition. This important thought provides a powerful theoretical and practical guide to the work of building a socialist culture with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
文摘The transition period of Chinese society has spawned many psychosocial problems in China,which are characterized by high incidence,universality and growth. Compared with social and economic development,the devel-opment of social psychology has been relatively slow for a long time,which has led to the prevalence of psychosocial problems and the lack of modernity cultivation in China's modernization. Xi Jinping theory on socialism with Chi-nese characteristics(SCC) in the new era is a scientific plan for the all - round development and modernization of SCC,and it contains rich ideas of modernity. It is also the ideological inheritance and innovation of Marx's "full and free development of human beings",and the basic strategy of cultivating the modernity of the new era. Therefore,it is an important way to solve the current psychosocial problems in China through the Marxist theory and the "unfulfilled enlightenment" of the theory of the new era.
文摘After taking stock of China's four-decade reforms, this paper identifies the cyclical patterns of China's reforms, which consist of an intermediate cycle and three short cycles. The purpose of reform is to adjust the changing relations of production to changing productivity. China has adopted a gradualist approach of reform, and reform cycles have coincided with economic cycles. The cyclical changes of reform are of great significance to comprehensively deepening reforms in the new era: Downward pressures of the economy present the best window period for reform;a new cycle of reform will unveil a new economic cycle as well;the people's support is essential to pushing forward the cyclical movements of reform;and top-down design is essential to deepen reforms on all fronts.
文摘With decades of hard work,socialism with Chinese characteristics has crossed the threshold into a new era.The transformation of the principal contradiction in the new era has imposed new and higher requirements on the rural elderly care service system.However,the current service system based on welfare-multiplex and urban community environment is often difficult to operate in the rural areas of central and western China.And the urban home care service for the aged is inappropriate to the rural reality;community service for the aged faces difficulties in practice;institution care for the aged develops slowly;the synergy among different elderly care service models is poor.Through observing the rural areas of central and western China in the field for a long time,this paper proposes to build the rural elderly care service system based on family supporting,supported by community mutual assistance care,supplemented by institution care for the aged,combined with medical care,and localized with diversified forms for targeted groups according to different realities.And the system should follow the fundamental guidance of development-oriented family policy,adhere to the governance mode of multiple subjects with one core and respect rural reality,which could provide a feasible way for the reform and reconstruction of the rural elderly care service system.

文摘Labor has the core significance in the philosophy of historical materialism.Its concept of labor defines the nature of labor,affirms the decisive role of labor for human and social progress,demonstrates the form,intrinsic quality and inevitable result of labor under the capitalist economic system,and looks forward to the ultimate liberation of human beings brought by labor in Communist society in the future.The whole social life of each particular era is fundamentally determined by labor,and labor is the final basis for historical materialism to divide the times.In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,historical materialism’s labor concept points out the fundamental way to realize individual value and all-round development,provides a reference path for the development of grassroots democracy,and guides the practice of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
文摘As China entered into a new era of development, the primary contradiction facing Chinese society has also evolved. It is important for both scholars and policymakers to review the characteristics of China's economy in its present stage in accordance with economic principles-principles that reflect every aspect of economic and social life and macroeconomic regulation. In this paper, we attempt to unravel the characteristics of China's new era from three perspectives-historical materialism, dialectic materialism and epistemology, and in light of economic principles at the three levels of resource factors, modes of production and regulation of resource allocation. Based on these perspectives, this paper further identifies the characteristics of China's new era from nine aspects, including globalization, modernization, the primary stage of socialism, new development concepts, supply-side reforms, the guideline of seeking steady progress, the mentality of scope, bottomline mindset and strategic composure. From the three different levels, this paper summarizes and applies economic principles to propose solutions to the problems and challenges facing China in the new era. The findings of the paper are also relevant to implementation of the guidelines CPC Central Committee General Secretary Xi Jinping noted in his report to the 19 th CPC National Congress.
