The fi...The effects of time-delayed vibration absorber(TDVA) on the dynamic characteristics of a flexible beam are investigated. First, the vibration suppression effect of a single TDVA on a continuous beam is studied. The first optimization criterion is given,and the results show that the introduction of time-delayed feedback control(TDFC) is beneficial to improving the vibration suppression at the anti-resonance band. When a single TDVA is used, the anti-resonance is located at a specific frequency by the optimum design of TDFC parameters. Then, in order to obtain low-frequency and broad bands for vibration suppression, multiple TDVAs are uniformly distributed on a continuous beam,and the relationship between the dynamic responses and the TDFC parameters is investigated. The obtained relationship shows that the TDVA has a significant regulatory effect on the vibration behavior of the continuous beam. The effects of the number of TDVAs and the nonlinearity on the bandgap variation are discussed. As the multiple TDVAs are applied, according to the different requirements on the location and bandwidth of the effective vibration suppression band, the optimization criteria for the TDFC parameters are given, which provides guidance for the applications of TDVAs in practical projects such as bridge and aerospace.展开更多

The analytical solution of the motion equation of the system when the main resonance and the 1:2 internal resonance occur simultaneously is obtained by multiple scale method, experimentally measured natural frequencies of nonlinear beams. The effects of excitation amplitude, delay feedback coefficients and nonlinear coefficients on saturation control are investigated. The results of the study show that the bandwidth of the saturation control can be increased by increasing the value of the external excitation, the nonlinear coefficients enhance the nonlinear phenomena of the system.展开更多

To solve this problem, a vibration absorber with time-delayed feedback control is proposed to suppress vibration of the primary system under excitation with changing frequency. Firstly, the mechanical model of the delay coupled system is established. Then, the displacement transfer ratio of the system is obtained. The stability of the system is analyzed since delay may result in destabilization. Next, in order to design the control parameters, the vibration absorption performances of the proposed time-delayed vibration absorber are studied. The vibration absorption region is shown. The results show that time-delayed feedback control is able to change the response of the system. The effective vibration absorption frequency band is adjustable by tuning the control gain and time delay. The effective frequency band can be widened when choosing appropriate control parameters. The vibration absorption performances can be greatly improved by the time-delayed absorber. In addition, the optimum control parameters are obtained. Finally, the experimental prototype is constructed. Several tests with different control parameters are taken. The experimental and analytical results match quite well.展开更多

A sufficient condition for the existence of the nonfragile guaranteed cost controller is given. A numeric example is then given to illustrate the effectiveness and the feasibility of the designed method. The results show that even if the parameters of the designed controller are of variations, the closed-loop system is still asymptotically stable and the super value of the cost function can also be obtained, while the closed-loop system will be unstable if the variations of the controller parameters are not considered when the controller is designed. The nonfragile guaranteed cost controller derived from the traditional shift operator method may cause the closed-loop system to be unstable, while the nonfragile guaranteed cost controller based on Delta operator method can avoid the unstable problem of the closed-loop system.展开更多

Such feedback is detailedly ...The displacement feedback with time delay considered is introduced in order to enhance the vibration isolation performance of a high-static-low-dynamic stiffness(HSLDS) vibration isolator. Such feedback is detailedly analyzed from the viewpoint of equivalent damping. Firstly, the primary resonance of the controlled HSLDS vibration isolator subjected to a harmonic force excitation is obtained based on the multiple scales method and further verified by numerical integration. The stability of the primary resonance is subsequently investigated. Then, the equivalent damping is defined to study the effects of feedback gain and time delay on primary resonance. The condition of jump avoidance is obtained with the purpose of eliminating the adverse effects induced by jumps. Finally, the force transmissibility of the controlled HSLDS vibration isolator is defined to evaluate its isolation performance. It is shown that an appropriate choice of feedback parameters can effectively suppress the force transmissibility in resonant region and reduce the resonance frequency. Furthermore, a wider vibration isolation frequency bandwidth can be achieved compared to the passive HSLDS vibration isolator.展开更多

This technique is utilized ...In this paper, a novel non-monotonic Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach is proposed to deal with the stability analysis and stabilization problem of linear discrete time-delay systems. This technique is utilized to relax the monotonic requirement of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii theorem. In this regard, the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is allowed to increase in a few steps, while being forced to be overall decreasing. As a result, it relays on a larger class of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals to provide stability of a state-delay system. To this end, using the non-monotonic Lyapunov-Krasovskii theorem, new sufficient conditions are derived regarding linear matrix inequalities(LMIs)to study the global asymptotic stability of state-delay systems.Moreover, new stabilization conditions are also proposed for time-delay systems in this article. The influences of system parameters on TDS suppression(characterized by autocorrelation function(ACF) and permutation entropy(PE) around characteristic time) and chaos BW are investigated. The results show that, with the increasing bias current, the ranges of parameters(detuning and injection strength) for the larger BW(> 20 GHz) are broadened considerably, while the parameter range for optimized TDS(< 0.1) is not shrunk obviously.Under optimized parameters, the system can simultaneously achieve two chaos outputs with enhanced BW(> 20 GHz)and perfect TDS suppression. In addition, the system can generate two-channel high-speed truly physical random number sequences at 200 Gbits/s for each channel.展开更多
Based on adiabatic approximation theory,in this paper we study the asymmetric stochastic resonance system with time-delayed feedback driven by non-Gaussian colored noise.The analytical expressions of the mean first-pa...Based on adiabatic approximation theory,in this paper we study the asymmetric stochastic resonance system with time-delayed feedback driven by non-Gaussian colored noise.The analytical expressions of the mean first-passage time(MFPT)and output signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)are derived by using a path integral approach,unified colored-noise approximation(UCNA),and small delay approximation.The effects of time-delayed feedback and non-Gaussian colored noise on the output SNR are analyzed.Moreover,three types of asymmetric potential function characteristics are thoroughly discussed.And they are well-depth asymmetry(DASR),well-width asymmetry(WASR),and synchronous action of welldepth and well-width asymmetry(DWASR),respectively.The conclusion of this paper is that the time-delayed feedback can suppress SR,however,the non-Gaussian noise deviation parameter has the opposite effect.Moreover,the correlation time plays a significant role in improving SNR,and the SNR of asymmetric stochastic resonance is higher than that of symmetric stochastic resonance.Our experiments demonstrate that the appropriate parameters can make the asymmetric stochastic resonance perform better to detect weak signals than the symmetric stochastic resonance,in which no matter whether these signals have low frequency or high frequency,accompanied by strong or weak noise.展开更多

The nonfragile guaranteed cost controller derived from the traditional shift operator method may cause the closed-loop system to be unstable, while the nonfragile guaranteed cost controller based on Delta operator method can avoid the unstable problem of the closed-loop system.

文摘We propose a new approach to discuss the consensus problem of multi-agent systems with time-varying delayed control inputs, switching topologies, and stochastic cyber-attacks under hybrid-triggered mechanism.A Bernoulli variable is used to describe the hybrid-triggered scheme, which is introduced to alleviate the burden of the network.The mathematical model of the closed-loop control system is established by taking the influences of time-varying delayed control inputs,switching topologies, and stochastic cyber-attacks into account under the hybrid-triggered scheme.A theorem as the main result is given to make the system consistent based on the theory of Lyapunov stability and linear matrix inequality.Markov jumps with uncertain rates of transitions are applied to describe the switch of topologies.Finally, a simulation example demonstrates the feasibility of the theory in this paper.

文摘The displacement feedback with time delay considered is introduced in order to enhance the vibration isolation performance of a high-static-low-dynamic stiffness(HSLDS) vibration isolator. Such feedback is detailedly analyzed from the viewpoint of equivalent damping. Firstly, the primary resonance of the controlled HSLDS vibration isolator subjected to a harmonic force excitation is obtained based on the multiple scales method and further verified by numerical integration. The stability of the primary resonance is subsequently investigated. Then, the equivalent damping is defined to study the effects of feedback gain and time delay on primary resonance. The condition of jump avoidance is obtained with the purpose of eliminating the adverse effects induced by jumps. Finally, the force transmissibility of the controlled HSLDS vibration isolator is defined to evaluate its isolation performance. It is shown that an appropriate choice of feedback parameters can effectively suppress the force transmissibility in resonant region and reduce the resonance frequency. Furthermore, a wider vibration isolation frequency bandwidth can be achieved compared to the passive HSLDS vibration isolator.
文摘In this paper, we study the H∞ control of time-delay linear systems either with some norm-bounded uncertainties or not with (for systems not in the scope of the nominal systems of the former ones). As linear time-delay systems are infinite dimensional in natural, some new sufficient conditions in Riccati equation form are offered, which extends current related results. We also point out a mistake appeared in a recently published paper.
文摘In this paper, a novel non-monotonic Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional approach is proposed to deal with the stability analysis and stabilization problem of linear discrete time-delay systems. This technique is utilized to relax the monotonic requirement of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii theorem. In this regard, the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is allowed to increase in a few steps, while being forced to be overall decreasing. As a result, it relays on a larger class of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals to provide stability of a state-delay system. To this end, using the non-monotonic Lyapunov-Krasovskii theorem, new sufficient conditions are derived regarding linear matrix inequalities(LMIs)to study the global asymptotic stability of state-delay systems.Moreover, new stabilization conditions are also proposed for time-delay systems in this article. Both simulation and experimental results on a p H neutralizing process are provided to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed method.

文摘Pulse laser range detector is to measure the distance by estimating the time delay between the emitting pulse and echo pulse.In this paper,a mathematical model for the target echo signal of laser fuze has been established;in accordance with this model,the formulas for echo time-delay estimation and for amplitude estimation based on least squares criterion have been deduced.It is argued and simulated that the resolution of echo time-delay estimation could be improved through multi-reference correlation approach.Experiments illustrate that the approach enables pulsed laser fuze to perform high-precision ranging under a low signal-to-noise ratio condition.

文摘Simultaneous bandwidth(BW) enhancement and time-delay signature(TDS) suppression of chaotic lasing over a wide range of parameters by mutually coupled semiconductor lasers(MCSLs) with random optical injection are proposed and numerically investigated. The influences of system parameters on TDS suppression(characterized by autocorrelation function(ACF) and permutation entropy(PE) around characteristic time) and chaos BW are investigated. The results show that, with the increasing bias current, the ranges of parameters(detuning and injection strength) for the larger BW(> 20 GHz) are broadened considerably, while the parameter range for optimized TDS(< 0.1) is not shrunk obviously.Under optimized parameters, the system can simultaneously achieve two chaos outputs with enhanced BW(> 20 GHz)and perfect TDS suppression. In addition, the system can generate two-channel high-speed truly physical random number sequences at 200 Gbits/s for each channel.

文摘Based on adiabatic approximation theory,in this paper we study the asymmetric stochastic resonance system with time-delayed feedback driven by non-Gaussian colored noise.The analytical expressions of the mean first-passage time(MFPT)and output signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)are derived by using a path integral approach,unified colored-noise approximation(UCNA),and small delay approximation.The effects of time-delayed feedback and non-Gaussian colored noise on the output SNR are analyzed.Moreover,three types of asymmetric potential function characteristics are thoroughly discussed.And they are well-depth asymmetry(DASR),well-width asymmetry(WASR),and synchronous action of welldepth and well-width asymmetry(DWASR),respectively.The conclusion of this paper is that the time-delayed feedback can suppress SR,however,the non-Gaussian noise deviation parameter has the opposite effect.Moreover,the correlation time plays a significant role in improving SNR,and the SNR of asymmetric stochastic resonance is higher than that of symmetric stochastic resonance.Our experiments demonstrate that the appropriate parameters can make the asymmetric stochastic resonance perform better to detect weak signals than the symmetric stochastic resonance,in which no matter whether these signals have low frequency or high frequency,accompanied by strong or weak noise.
文摘The effects of time-delayed feedback control in a single-mode laser system is investigated.Using the smalltime delay approximation,the analytic expression of the stationary probability distribution function of the laser field isobtained.The mean,normalized variance and skewness of the steady-state laser intensity are calculated.It is found thatthe time-delayed feedback control can suppress the intensity fluctuation of the laser system.The numerical simulationsare in good agreement with the approximate analytic results.

文摘The global exponentially stability was studied for time-delay and time-varying measure large scale systems with impulsive effects. Firstly, the concepts are drawn for the functional category. Secondly, some sufficient conditions of the uniformly stability and the global exponentially stability are given for the above systems through defining a Lyapunov function of the weighting sum of the variable absolute by using the Lyapunov function method and the comparison principle. At the same time, the new conclusion of stability of these systems is more universal and contains the existing results. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the feasibility and validity of the obtained results.

文摘Robust predictive control algorithms were presented for polytopic uncertain linear discrete systems with time-delay subjected to actuator saturation. In the first algorithm, the parameter dependent state feedback model predictive control (MPC) law was obtained from minimizing the upper bound of the cost function subjected to several linear matrix inequality constraints. In order to reduce computation burden, a second robust MPC algorithm based on nominal performance cost was presented. The feasibility of the optimization problems guarantees that the algorithms are robustly stable. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.
