A subsidiary objective was to devise and implement a safety program evaluation methodology, and gain insights on the relationships between knowledge acquisition through training and trainee demographics. Salient aspects of blight elimination efforts, as well as the main facets of building demolition practices and requirements, were reviewed. Information on various related safety and health hazards was studied in depth with a focus on demolition operations dealing with blighted properties. A unique safety hazard awareness training program was created for demolition workers, contractors and inspectors based on this research. In addition to devising a curriculum of relevant training topics along with traditional and online delivery systems to be employed, effectiveness evaluation instruments were formulated. Based on the limited data collected from the trainees it was concluded that the program was well-received by them and provided effective learning. It was also found that no statistically significant associations existed between the knowledge gain of the trainees, and either their experience level or union status, after taking this training.展开更多
BACKGROUND As one of the most important members in clinical trials,the number of clinical research nurses(CRN)can't keep up with the growth of experimental projects,so it is urgent to build clinical research train...BACKGROUND As one of the most important members in clinical trials,the number of clinical research nurses(CRN)can't keep up with the growth of experimental projects,so it is urgent to build clinical research training and strengthen the background knowledge of nurses.AIM To construct CRN training program based on position competence,accelerate the construction of CRN talent pool,and provide scientific guidance significance for CRN training.METHODS Based on the position competence model,combined with literature research and qualitative interview results,the first draft was prepared of the CRN training program.Two rounds of correspondence with 16 experts were conducted using the Delphi method to determine the training program.RESULTS The effective recovery rate of the expert correspondence questionnaire was 100%and the authority coefficients of the 2 rounds of experts were 0.826 and 0.895.Finally,4 first-level indicators and determine 15 s-level indicators of training objectives.The training program included 4 first-level indicators,training requirements,content,methods,assessment and evaluation,15 s-level indicators,and 74 third-level indicators.CONCLUSION The CRN training program based on position competence is scientific and extendable,providing a basis for participation in CRN training.展开更多

Objectives:Pressure ulcer(PU)is one of the most common problem among the bedridden elderly and has significantly more burden on elderly and caregivers.This study is aimed to evaluate the effects of the training progra...Objectives:Pressure ulcer(PU)is one of the most common problem among the bedridden elderly and has significantly more burden on elderly and caregivers.This study is aimed to evaluate the effects of the training program for caregivers to prevent PUs among elderly residents at geriatric homes.Methods:A quasi-experimental design was used to carry out the current study.A purposive sample comprised of all formal(39 nurses)or informal caregivers(39)and all immobilized elderly residents(35)who are found in all geriatric centers in Helwan district.A structured questionnaire was used to assess caregivers’socio-demographic characteristics,knowledge,attitude,and observational checklists for their practice for prevention of PU at pre-and posttest and during follow-up.Results:After the training program,there were improvements in the level of knowledge,practice,and positive attitude of caregivers about PU prevention with a statistically significant difference between pre-,post-,and follow-up training programs(P<0.001).Conclusions:The study revealed that the training program seemed to change the knowledge,practice,and attitude of the subjects to PU prevention.This,in turn,implies that adequate knowledge affects directly the elderly caregivers’attitudes as well as practice for prevention could be important in reducing the burden of PU among the elderly.Thus,conducting a training program for caregivers at different geriatric homes about caring skills for elders can prevent PU,and using spontaneous reposition is very effective to prevent PUs.展开更多
In recent years evidence has emerged suggesting that Mini-basketball training program(MBTP)can be an effec-tive intervention method to improve social communication(SC)impairments and restricted and repetitive beha-vio...In recent years evidence has emerged suggesting that Mini-basketball training program(MBTP)can be an effec-tive intervention method to improve social communication(SC)impairments and restricted and repetitive beha-viors(RRBs)in preschool children suffering from autism spectrum disorder(ASD).However,there is a considerable degree if interindividual variability concerning these social outcomes and thus not all preschool chil-dren with ASD profit from a MBTP intervention to the same extent.In order to make more accurate predictions which preschool children with ASD can benefit from an MBTP intervention or which preschool children with ASD need additional interventions to achieve behavioral improvements,further research is required.This study aimed to investigate which individual factors of preschool children with ASD can predict MBTP intervention out-comes concerning SC impairments and RRBs.Then,test the performance of machine learning models in predict-ing intervention outcomes based on these factors.Participants were 26 preschool children with ASD who enrolled in a quasi-experiment and received MBTP intervention.Baseline demographic variables(e.g.,age,body,mass index[BMI]),indicators of physicalfitness(e.g.,handgrip strength,balance performance),performance in execu-tive function,severity of ASD symptoms,level of SC impairments,and severity of RRBs were obtained to predict treatment outcomes after MBTP intervention.Machine learning models were established based on support vector machine algorithm were implemented.For comparison,we also employed multiple linear regression models in statistics.Ourfindings suggest that in preschool children with ASD symptomatic severity(r=0.712,p<0.001)and baseline SC impairments(r=0.713,p<0.001)are predictors for intervention outcomes of SC impair-ments.Furthermore,BMI(r=-0.430,p=0.028),symptomatic severity(r=0.656,p<0.001),baseline SC impair-ments(r=0.504,p=0.009)and baseline RRBs(r=0.647,p<0.001)can predict intervention outcomes of RRBs.Statistical models predicted 59.6%of variance in post-treatment SC impairments(MSE=0.455,RMSE=0.675,R2=0.596)and 58.9%of variance in post-treatment RRBs(MSE=0.464,RMSE=0.681,R2=0.589).Machine learning models predicted 83%of variance in post-treatment SC impairments(MSE=0.188,RMSE=0.434,R2=0.83)and 85.9%of variance in post-treatment RRBs(MSE=0.051,RMSE=0.226,R2=0.859),which were better than statistical models.Ourfindings suggest that baseline characteristics such as symptomatic severity of 144 IJMHP,2022,vol.24,no.2 ASD symptoms and SC impairments are important predictors determining MBTP intervention-induced improvements concerning SC impairments and RBBs.Furthermore,the current study revealed that machine learning models can successfully be applied to predict the MBTP intervention-related outcomes in preschool chil-dren with ASD,and performed better than statistical models.Ourfindings can help to inform which preschool children with ASD are most likely to benefit from an MBTP intervention,and they might provide a reference for the development of personalized intervention programs for preschool children with ASD.展开更多

However, due to several barriers staff nurses who form th...Quality of maternal and newborn care could be improved if health care providers’ knowledge and competencies as well as system level constraints are addressed. However, due to several barriers staff nurses who form the frontline of health care workforce have limited access to enhancing their clinical knowledge and competencies. To address this gap, a new cadre of nurse mentors (NMs) for the public health system were trained by specialists from a teaching hospital in a special 5-week training course. This included 54 hours of theory and 110 hours of practical in clinical obstetric and newborn care, apart from mentoring, quality improvement and health systems issues. The nurse mentors were assigned to support staff nurses in the primary health care centres (PHCs) in eight northern Karnataka districts. Each NM covered 6-8 PHCs monthly for 2 - 3 days and thus a total of 385 PHCs were reached. They received support in the field through supportive supervision visits done by the specialists who had trained them, as well as by refresher training and clinical postings to the district hospitals. This paper presents impact of the training program on change in immediate and long term knowledge and competency scores of nurse mentors. Their baseline knowledge scores changed from 44.3 ± 12.7 to 72.1 ± 13.8 immediately after the training in obstetric and from 18.2 ± 19.1 to 66.4 ± 14.9 in newborn (p p p > 0.05). Skills score soon after training increased from 62.2 ± 13.2 to 69.6 ± 12.5 in obstetric after a 1 year period and from 52.6 ± 9.3;63.5 ± 14.4 in newborn (p < 0.001) content areas respectively. These findings have implications for those interested in improving quality of maternal and child care through nurse-dependent health delivery systems.展开更多

The multifactorial etiology of the syndrome makes the clinical evaluation and synthesis of an effective treatment plan particularly demanding and difficult. The absence of a specific clinical trial for the diagnosis or rejection of PFPS leads to the diagnosis of the syndrome through the careful rejection of other conditions with similar symptoms. Physiotherapy is based on the management and immediate treatment of the patient’s pain, by combining active and passive means of treatment and address the fear of exercise and movement. Interventions for the treatment of patellofemoral pain present positive short-term but not as encouraging long-term results. Therefore we are posed with an interesting question: what is the most effective treatment plan for the management of PFPS? Background and Aims:Liver imaging reporting and data system(LI-RADS)provides standardized lexicon and categorization for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,there is limited knowledge about the effect of ...Background and Aims:Liver imaging reporting and data system(LI-RADS)provides standardized lexicon and categorization for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,there is limited knowledge about the effect of LI-RADS training.We prospectively explored whether the systematic training of LI-RADS v2018 on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)can effectively improve the diagnostic performances of different radiologists for HCC.Methods:A total of 20 visiting radiologists and the multiparametric MRI of 70 hepatic observations in 61 patients with high risk of HCC were included in this study.The LI-RADS v2018 training procedure included three times of thematic lectures(each lasting for 2.5 h)given by a professor specialized in imaging diagnosis of liver,with an interval of a month.After each seminar,the radiologists had a month to adopt the algorithm into their daily work.The diagnostic performances and interobserver agreements of these radiologists adopting the algorithm for HCC diagnosis before and after training were compared.Results:A total of 20 radiologists(male/female,12/8;with an average age of 36.75±4.99 years)were enrolled.After training,the interobserver agreements for the LI-RADS category for all radiologists(p=0.005)were increased.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value,and coincidence rate of all radiologists for HCC diagnosis before and after training were 43%vs.54%,86%vs.88%,74%vs.81%,62%vs.67%,and 65%vs.71%,respectively.The diagnostic performances of all radiologists(p<0.001)showed improvement after training.Conclusions:The systematic training of LI-RADS can effectively improve the diagnostic performances of radiologists with different experiences for HCC.展开更多
Worldwide,public health systems are continually challenged by emerging and re-emerging viruses.It is therefore important that high-containment labs coordinate and communicate globally to share their experiences and le...Worldwide,public health systems are continually challenged by emerging and re-emerging viruses.It is therefore important that high-containment labs coordinate and communicate globally to share their experiences and lessons to improve their capacity to respond to threats.The National Biosafety(Level 4)Laboratory in Wuhan,CAS,which is the first Level 4 biosafety laboratory(BSL-4)in China,has been certified recently and it is expected to play an important role in the prevention and control of highly infectious agents in future.Trained and experienced staff in such organizations is the most important factor contributing to safety and security.Therefore,it is imperative to develop a standard training program.Accordingly,in the present study,we developed an improved training program and assessment system based on policies and practices developed by BSL-3/4s in other countries.It included the following three components:(1)A flexible modularized theoretical training:This training comprised 14 modularized theoretical topics such that staffs with different backgrounds could take this theoretical training with different topic combinations according to their knowledge and skill levels;(2)A standardized practical training assessment:This comprehensive assessment,which could be used with biosafety laboratory staff before,during,and after training,included standard operation procedures to meet the special requirements of trainees with different scores;and(3)An applicable documentation system:A certification system was established to evaluate the ability of all staff working inside or outside the laboratory,implemented by a special committee.This certification was approved and authorized by the director of the laboratory and was classified into three grades with corresponding minimal requirements.Further,the present study examined the importance of and need for networking for training BSL-3/4 staff.The establishment of rigorous standards for training BSL-3/4 staff will instill confidence in the public,policy makers,and security officials.Additionally,the expanded international network of BSL-3/4s will continue to be operated safely and will pose no risk to scientific staff,local communities,surrounding environment,and host nations.The clarification and coordination of training standards will help develop a highly-qualified biocontainment workforce and will result in a series of programs that will enable scientists to develop measures to deal with existing threat agents and new diseases that emerge.展开更多

文摘Objectives:Pressure ulcer(PU)is one of the most common problem among the bedridden elderly and has significantly more burden on elderly and caregivers.This study is aimed to evaluate the effects of the training program for caregivers to prevent PUs among elderly residents at geriatric homes.Methods:A quasi-experimental design was used to carry out the current study.A purposive sample comprised of all formal(39 nurses)or informal caregivers(39)and all immobilized elderly residents(35)who are found in all geriatric centers in Helwan district.A structured questionnaire was used to assess caregivers’socio-demographic characteristics,knowledge,attitude,and observational checklists for their practice for prevention of PU at pre-and posttest and during follow-up.Results:After the training program,there were improvements in the level of knowledge,practice,and positive attitude of caregivers about PU prevention with a statistically significant difference between pre-,post-,and follow-up training programs(P<0.001).Conclusions:The study revealed that the training program seemed to change the knowledge,practice,and attitude of the subjects to PU prevention.This,in turn,implies that adequate knowledge affects directly the elderly caregivers’attitudes as well as practice for prevention could be important in reducing the burden of PU among the elderly.Thus,conducting a training program for caregivers at different geriatric homes about caring skills for elders can prevent PU,and using spontaneous reposition is very effective to prevent PUs.

文摘In recent years evidence has emerged suggesting that Mini-basketball training program(MBTP)can be an effec-tive intervention method to improve social communication(SC)impairments and restricted and repetitive beha-viors(RRBs)in preschool children suffering from autism spectrum disorder(ASD).However,there is a considerable degree if interindividual variability concerning these social outcomes and thus not all preschool chil-dren with ASD profit from a MBTP intervention to the same extent.In order to make more accurate predictions which preschool children with ASD can benefit from an MBTP intervention or which preschool children with ASD need additional interventions to achieve behavioral improvements,further research is required.This study aimed to investigate which individual factors of preschool children with ASD can predict MBTP intervention out-comes concerning SC impairments and RRBs.Then,test the performance of machine learning models in predict-ing intervention outcomes based on these factors.Participants were 26 preschool children with ASD who enrolled in a quasi-experiment and received MBTP intervention.Baseline demographic variables(e.g.,age,body,mass index[BMI]),indicators of physicalfitness(e.g.,handgrip strength,balance performance),performance in execu-tive function,severity of ASD symptoms,level of SC impairments,and severity of RRBs were obtained to predict treatment outcomes after MBTP intervention.Machine learning models were established based on support vector machine algorithm were implemented.For comparison,we also employed multiple linear regression models in statistics.Ourfindings suggest that in preschool children with ASD symptomatic severity(r=0.712,p<0.001)and baseline SC impairments(r=0.713,p<0.001)are predictors for intervention outcomes of SC impair-ments.Furthermore,BMI(r=-0.430,p=0.028),symptomatic severity(r=0.656,p<0.001),baseline SC impair-ments(r=0.504,p=0.009)and baseline RRBs(r=0.647,p<0.001)can predict intervention outcomes of RRBs.Statistical models predicted 59.6%of variance in post-treatment SC impairments(MSE=0.455,RMSE=0.675,R2=0.596)and 58.9%of variance in post-treatment RRBs(MSE=0.464,RMSE=0.681,R2=0.589).Machine learning models predicted 83%of variance in post-treatment SC impairments(MSE=0.188,RMSE=0.434,R2=0.83)and 85.9%of variance in post-treatment RRBs(MSE=0.051,RMSE=0.226,R2=0.859),which were better than statistical models.Ourfindings suggest that baseline characteristics such as symptomatic severity of 144 IJMHP,2022,vol.24,no.2 ASD symptoms and SC impairments are important predictors determining MBTP intervention-induced improvements concerning SC impairments and RBBs.Furthermore,the current study revealed that machine learning models can successfully be applied to predict the MBTP intervention-related outcomes in preschool chil-dren with ASD,and performed better than statistical models.Ourfindings can help to inform which preschool children with ASD are most likely to benefit from an MBTP intervention,and they might provide a reference for the development of personalized intervention programs for preschool children with ASD.
文摘Quality of maternal and newborn care could be improved if health care providers’ knowledge and competencies as well as system level constraints are addressed. However, due to several barriers staff nurses who form the frontline of health care workforce have limited access to enhancing their clinical knowledge and competencies. To address this gap, a new cadre of nurse mentors (NMs) for the public health system were trained by specialists from a teaching hospital in a special 5-week training course. This included 54 hours of theory and 110 hours of practical in clinical obstetric and newborn care, apart from mentoring, quality improvement and health systems issues. The nurse mentors were assigned to support staff nurses in the primary health care centres (PHCs) in eight northern Karnataka districts. Each NM covered 6-8 PHCs monthly for 2 - 3 days and thus a total of 385 PHCs were reached. They received support in the field through supportive supervision visits done by the specialists who had trained them, as well as by refresher training and clinical postings to the district hospitals. This paper presents impact of the training program on change in immediate and long term knowledge and competency scores of nurse mentors. Their baseline knowledge scores changed from 44.3 ± 12.7 to 72.1 ± 13.8 immediately after the training in obstetric and from 18.2 ± 19.1 to 66.4 ± 14.9 in newborn (p p p > 0.05). Skills score soon after training increased from 62.2 ± 13.2 to 69.6 ± 12.5 in obstetric after a 1 year period and from 52.6 ± 9.3;63.5 ± 14.4 in newborn (p < 0.001) content areas respectively. These findings have implications for those interested in improving quality of maternal and child care through nurse-dependent health delivery systems.

文摘The Ministry of Health and Family Planning of the People’s Republic of China issued a mandate to all hospitals to implement clinical pharmacy services by 2020.Implementation of clinical pharmacy services to provide pharmaceutical care is a priority.The Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University in collaboration with the University of Alberta implemented a structured train-the-trainer program to train pharmacists to provide direct patient care in collaboration with physicians,to teach/mentor other pharmacists and students from Hunan province,and to conduct clinical pharmacy research.Following implementation of the program,the pharmacy department increased the number of clinical pharmacists,expanded the clinical pharmacy services,made changes to hospital policies,and received a financial award of five million renminbi(one million Canadian dollars)to support the department.
文摘South Africa's contemporary political relations with China shows a resemblance in political thinking and beliefs that forms the basis for solidarity and draws the two countries closer on ideological grounds.The literature points out that when states shares similar characteristics,certain hypotheses exists that can provide an analytical explanation of alignment formation.The ideological push by China aims to promote the political like-mindedness of the Chinese Communist Party(CCP)and African National Congress(ANC)and manifests in the launching of party training programs.Socialism with Chinese characteristics forms the core of the training programs,which is used to strengthen party structures,advance solidarity and maintain official party-to-party contact.Communication with an ANC party official provide a first-hand account of the beliefs of the current South African president and also what the stance of the South African Communist party(SACP)is.A major difference is that the ANC leader regards the Chinese way of governance as important,while the SACP focus on solidifying party structures.In light of this,the impact party training programs can have in testing the alignment hypotheses is examined in the paper.The findings reflect on the similar traits both parties share and the significance of the alignment to strengthen the political ideological relationship.
文摘Chinese scientists have been actively engaged in biotechnology research since the mid-2Oth century.However,biotechnology education,especially biomedical laboratory technology education,is relatively scarce in China.More and more cutting-edge equipment and techniques have been introduced into biomedical laboratories in China,but there is a lack of high-quality techni&ans to apply these advancements to scientific research.In addition,the traditional education and apprenticeship systems have been demonstrated little progress.To address this gap,West China Hospital of Sichuan University established a 2-year educational program for laboratory technology in 2006 based on the residency training program.The project integrates scientific methods into the research laboratory technician training in relevant disciplines,and has developed a systematic,scientific,and effective standardized training system to cultivate high-level and stable experimental technician team for the need of advanced laboratories,which has been demonstrated gready improve the efficiency of biomedical researchers and laboratory facilities.In this article,we introduce the practical experience in establishment and development of a standardized training system for biomedical laboratory technicians to ensure the sustainable development of medical researches.
文摘Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) is a common musculoskeletal condition, with a high incidence in young active adolescents, as well as in other age groups. The multifactorial etiology of the syndrome makes the clinical evaluation and synthesis of an effective treatment plan particularly demanding and difficult. The absence of a specific clinical trial for the diagnosis or rejection of PFPS leads to the diagnosis of the syndrome through the careful rejection of other conditions with similar symptoms. Physiotherapy is based on the management and immediate treatment of the patient’s pain, by combining active and passive means of treatment and address the fear of exercise and movement. Interventions for the treatment of patellofemoral pain present positive short-term but not as encouraging long-term results. Therefore we are posed with an interesting question: what is the most effective treatment plan for the management of PFPS? The purpose of the review is to present the necessary and most up-to-date data for the identification, clinical evaluation and etiology of the syndrome as well as to compose in the form of guidelines (Guidelines) the basis for building an effective treatment plan for the treatment of PFPS.

Method: Total coverage of 50 nurses in the previously mentioned settings. Three tools were used tool viz. the Structured questionnaire including two parts for Demographic data of nurses and level of basic nurse’s knowledge tool, the Observation </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">Check list</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">, and the training program procedure which consists of 4 phases: Phase (1) Pretest for the existing knowledge for nurses using the questionnaire format;Phase (2) Orientation to the educational program;Phase (3) close supervision to the participants while applying the nursing practice;Phase (4) Posttest at the end of the program (the same questionnaire and the observation </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">check list</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> format were used). Results: The results showed that the total knowledge and practice skills of the nurses were higher in the posttest than the pretest. There was a statistical </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">significance</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> correlation between the total nurses’ knowledge and their total </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">practice’s</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> skill in the posttest (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Most of the study participants attained a score less than “good” in the levels of knowledge and practical skills in the pretest which became “very good” to “Excellent” after the </span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">educational</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">.

文摘Background and Aims:Liver imaging reporting and data system(LI-RADS)provides standardized lexicon and categorization for diagnosing hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).However,there is limited knowledge about the effect of LI-RADS training.We prospectively explored whether the systematic training of LI-RADS v2018 on magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)can effectively improve the diagnostic performances of different radiologists for HCC.Methods:A total of 20 visiting radiologists and the multiparametric MRI of 70 hepatic observations in 61 patients with high risk of HCC were included in this study.The LI-RADS v2018 training procedure included three times of thematic lectures(each lasting for 2.5 h)given by a professor specialized in imaging diagnosis of liver,with an interval of a month.After each seminar,the radiologists had a month to adopt the algorithm into their daily work.The diagnostic performances and interobserver agreements of these radiologists adopting the algorithm for HCC diagnosis before and after training were compared.Results:A total of 20 radiologists(male/female,12/8;with an average age of 36.75±4.99 years)were enrolled.After training,the interobserver agreements for the LI-RADS category for all radiologists(p=0.005)were increased.The sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value,negative predictive value,and coincidence rate of all radiologists for HCC diagnosis before and after training were 43%vs.54%,86%vs.88%,74%vs.81%,62%vs.67%,and 65%vs.71%,respectively.The diagnostic performances of all radiologists(p<0.001)showed improvement after training.Conclusions:The systematic training of LI-RADS can effectively improve the diagnostic performances of radiologists with different experiences for HCC.

文摘Worldwide,public health systems are continually challenged by emerging and re-emerging viruses.It is therefore important that high-containment labs coordinate and communicate globally to share their experiences and lessons to improve their capacity to respond to threats.The National Biosafety(Level 4)Laboratory in Wuhan,CAS,which is the first Level 4 biosafety laboratory(BSL-4)in China,has been certified recently and it is expected to play an important role in the prevention and control of highly infectious agents in future.Trained and experienced staff in such organizations is the most important factor contributing to safety and security.Therefore,it is imperative to develop a standard training program.Accordingly,in the present study,we developed an improved training program and assessment system based on policies and practices developed by BSL-3/4s in other countries.It included the following three components:(1)A flexible modularized theoretical training:This training comprised 14 modularized theoretical topics such that staffs with different backgrounds could take this theoretical training with different topic combinations according to their knowledge and skill levels;(2)A standardized practical training assessment:This comprehensive assessment,which could be used with biosafety laboratory staff before,during,and after training,included standard operation procedures to meet the special requirements of trainees with different scores;and(3)An applicable documentation system:A certification system was established to evaluate the ability of all staff working inside or outside the laboratory,implemented by a special committee.This certification was approved and authorized by the director of the laboratory and was classified into three grades with corresponding minimal requirements.Further,the present study examined the importance of and need for networking for training BSL-3/4 staff.The establishment of rigorous standards for training BSL-3/4 staff will instill confidence in the public,policy makers,and security officials.Additionally,the expanded international network of BSL-3/4s will continue to be operated safely and will pose no risk to scientific staff,local communities,surrounding environment,and host nations.The clarification and coordination of training standards will help develop a highly-qualified biocontainment workforce and will result in a series of programs that will enable scientists to develop measures to deal with existing threat agents and new diseases that emerge.
