This study focuses on the field reconnaissance efforts for investigating ground deformation behavior and building foundation performance in Iskenderun.Many structures experienced significant damage or collapsed due to strong ground shaking in the coastal Iskenderun district of Hatay during the 2023 Kahramanmaras earthquake sequence.Many buildings were also impacted by ground failure due to liquefaction of deposits in the area.Preliminary information regarding the general subsurface profile and post-earthquake data collected during the reconnaissance was used to perform simplified liquefaction and lateral spreading analyses.The empirical methods provide first order estimations of settlements and lateral spreading but are not sufficient when the nature of the structure-soil-structure interaction and earthquake sequence is considered.Measurements of vertical displacements and building tilt,liquefaction manifestations,and structural and foundation parameters potentially affecting foundation settlements including foundation geometry,building contact pressure,and building elastic period were used to evaluate seismic response of the ground and the structures through empirical procedures.Most of the buildings exhibited poor to mediocre foundation performance due to liquefaction-prone subsurface profiles,especially on the coastline.Ongoing field and numerical research will reveal the cause of significant ground failure in the area as well as refined estimates for the seismic deformations. 展开更多

Frequency hopping spread spectrum(FHSS) is a transmission technique where the carrier hops from frequency to frequency. For frequency hopping a mechanism must be designed so that the data can be transmitted in a clear channel and avoid congested channels. Adaptive frequency hopping is a system which is used to improve immunity toward frequency interference by avoiding using congested frequency channels in hopping sequence. In this paper mathematical modelling is used to simulate and analyze the performance improvement by using FHSS with popular modulation schemes, and also the hopping channel situations are investigated. 展开更多

This work started out with the in-depth feasibil-ity study and limitation analysis on the current disease spread estimating and countermea-sures evaluating models, then we identify that the population variability is a crucial impact which has been always ignored or less empha-sized. Taking HIV/AIDS as the application and validation background, we propose a novel al-gorithm model system, EEA model system, a new way to estimate the spread situation, evaluate different countermeasures and analyze the development of ARV-resistant disease strains. The model is a series of solvable ordi-nary differential equation (ODE) models to es-timate the spread of HIV/AIDS infections, which not only require only one year’s data to deduce the situation in any year, but also apply the piecewise constant method to employ multi- year information at the same time. We simulate the effects of therapy and vaccine, then evaluate the difference between them, and offer the smallest proportion of the vaccination in the population to defeat HIV/AIDS, especially the advantage of using the vaccination while the deficiency of using therapy separately. Then we analyze the development of ARV-resistant dis-ease strains by the piecewise constant method. Last but not least, high performance computing (HPC) platform is applied to simulate the situa-tion with variable large scale areas divided by grids, and especially the acceleration rate will come to around 4 to 5.5. 展开更多

Pefformance of watermarking embedding algorithms utilizing this host model is still left unexplored. The authors investigate the decoding perform-nance of Spread Spectrum (SS) embedding algorithm in the standard Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel with the host signal being modeled as AR process. The SS embedding algorithm also use linear interference cancelation in the subspace spanned by watermark pattern. They study the influence of design parameters on the decoding performance. The analytic result is verified by Monte Carlo simulation on synthesized AR process. The result may be helpful to design watermarking system for speech, biomedical and image signals. 展开更多

An adaptive detector is derived for range-spread target based on a novel covariance matrix estimator. It is proved that the new detector is constant false alarm rate (CFAR) to both of the clutter covariance matrix structure and power level theoretically for match cases. The simulation results show that the new detector is almost CFAR for mismatch cases, and it outperforms the existing adaptive detector based on the sample covariance matrix. It also shows that the detection performance improves, as the number of pulses, the number of secondary data or the clutter spike increases. In addition, the derived detector is robust to different subsets, estimated clutter group sizes and correlations of clutter. Importantly, the number of iterations for practical application is just one. 展开更多

We have investigated the factors affecting the current spreading length(CSL) in GaN-based light-emitting diodes(LEDs) by deriving theoretical expressions and performing simulations with APSYS.For mesa-structure LEDs,the effects of both indium tin oxide(ITO) and n-GaN are taken into account for the first time,and a new Q factor is introduced to explain the effects of different current flow paths on the CSL.The calculations and simulations show that the CSL can be enhanced by increasing the thickness of the ITO layer and resistivity of the n-GaN layer,or by reducing the resistivity of the ITO layer and thickness of the n-GaN layer.The results provide theoretical support for calculating the CSL clearly and directly.For vertical-structure LEDs,the effects of resistivity and thickness of the CSL on the internal quantum efficiency(IQE) have been analyzed.The theoretical expression relating current density and the parameters(resistivity and thickness)of the CSL is obtained,and the results are then verified by simulation.The IQE under different current injection conditions is discussed.The effects of CSL resistivity play a key role at high current injection,and there is an optimal thickness for the largest IQE only at a low current injection. 展开更多

In元素和Ce元素可以改善低银钎料的显微组织,当In元素和Ce元素的质量分数分别为1.5%和0.15%时,Ag10CuZnSn低银钎料显微组织的细化作用最为明显,此时304不锈钢钎焊接头的抗剪强度也达到最大值,为375 MPa.然而,质量分数3%的In元素和质量分数0.5%的Ce元素会在Ag10CuZnSn钎料的显微组织中形成脆性的Ag-In-Sn金属间化合物相和Sn-Ce稀土相,钎焊接头的抗剪强度也有所降低. 展开更多

针对面向无动力输入的自由流体在半圆形截面微流道中单向流动的问题,设计并制备了具有百微米级大尺寸仿猪笼草口缘区结构的开放式半圆管型微流道。分析液体单向铺展性机理,设计基本的大尺寸仿猪笼草口缘区结构半圆管表面;使用光固化成... 针对面向无动力输入的自由流体在半圆形截面微流道中单向流动的问题,设计并制备了具有百微米级大尺寸仿猪笼草口缘区结构的开放式半圆管型微流道。分析液体单向铺展性机理,设计基本的大尺寸仿猪笼草口缘区结构半圆管表面;使用光固化成型方法的数字光处理3D打印设备制备工件,实验分析大尺寸仿猪笼草口缘区结构半圆管型微流道的液体单向铺展性,计算极差表征各结构参数对单向铺展性的影响。结果表明:大尺寸仿猪笼草口缘区结构半圆管型微流道在椭圆半长轴570μm,空腔楔角30°,微流道宽度320μm,结构体长360μm,拉伸长度200μm,曲率2时具有较强的单向铺展性;各因素对铺展系数的影响程度由大到小分别为拉伸长度、结构体长、空腔楔角、椭圆半长轴、微流道宽度和曲率。研究结果为大尺寸仿猪笼草口缘区结构半圆管型微流道的参数设计提供基础指导,也验证了采用常规3D打印技术制备具有单向铺展性的微流道的可行性。 展开更多

不同温度下氟碳链长度对表面活性剂理化性能的影响

基于3种不同氟碳链长度的表面活性剂,研究温度(0~40℃)对氟碳表面活性剂理化性能(表面活性、发泡性能和铺展性能)的影响。结果表明,随着温度的升高,氟碳表面活性剂的临界胶束浓度(CMC)增大,表面张力(γ_(CMC))降低,且表面活性剂的氟碳... 基于3种不同氟碳链长度的表面活性剂,研究温度(0~40℃)对氟碳表面活性剂理化性能(表面活性、发泡性能和铺展性能)的影响。结果表明,随着温度的升高,氟碳表面活性剂的临界胶束浓度(CMC)增大,表面张力(γ_(CMC))降低,且表面活性剂的氟碳链越长,其形成胶束的能力越强,其中FC8表面活性剂溶液的CMC最小(0.23 mmol/L),γ_(CMC)值最低(15.07mN/m);低温下氟碳表面活性剂发泡倍数最低(特别是FC4在0℃时仅为3.70倍),升温到20℃时发泡倍数达到最佳(6.00~8.73倍),继续升温对发泡倍数影响不大,且相同温度下氟碳链越长发泡倍数越大,FC8的发泡倍数在20℃时达到8.73倍;表面活性剂铺展系数(S)随温度的升高而增大,当温度达到20℃时S的变化趋于平缓,且氟碳链越长越有利于降低单位面积表面活性剂的消耗量,节约成本。由此可见,低温对短氟碳链表面活性剂性能影响较大,特别是发泡倍数低达不到使用要求,若应用在水成膜泡沫灭火剂中还需进行复配提高其使用性能。 展开更多

LoRa(Long Range radio)系统在当前不断发展的低功率广域网(LPWAN)中处于相对领先地位。它的MAC层采用的是基于ALOHA的接入协议。该接入机制虽然简单易实现,但同时也容易加剧冲突和碰撞的发生,降低整个系统的通信性能。因此,需要研究多个终端同时占用信道资源时的相互干扰情况,而LoRa信号的扩频因子(SF)将决定信号的通信覆盖范围。因此,分析了干扰信号的SF与发送信号的SF相同以及不同时,干扰信号对发送信号解调性能的影响。实验结果表明,相同SF信号间的干扰影响相对较大,而干扰信号使用的SF与发送信号不同时,干扰的影响相对较小。通过理论分析,获得了接收端正确解调时所要求的信干比(SIR)。可见,不同SF的LoRa信号可看作伪正交。 展开更多

为满足电动舵机体积小,响应快的需求,现设计一种以齿轮-滚珠丝杠副-曲柄滑块为传动形式的舵机.通过ADAMS软件得出舵机执行机构展开时间为33.5 ms、展开角度是90°、最大冲击力为216 N,舵翼应力为497.31 MPa,小于材料屈服强度825 Mpa... 为满足电动舵机体积小,响应快的需求,现设计一种以齿轮-滚珠丝杠副-曲柄滑块为传动形式的舵机.通过ADAMS软件得出舵机执行机构展开时间为33.5 ms、展开角度是90°、最大冲击力为216 N,舵翼应力为497.31 MPa,小于材料屈服强度825 Mpa,舵轴最大转速为343(°)/s,最小输出力矩为6822 N·mm,满足设计要求;利用ABAQUS软件对执行机构进行加速度冲击模拟,机构最大应力为176 Mpa,均小于材料屈服强度;同时进行模态分析和谐响应分析,结果表明舵机激振频率远大于飞行中激振频率,舵机动态性能良好.最后通过试验验证,结构合理,满足设计要求. 展开更多

Reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)-assisted symbiotic radio is a spectrum-and energy-efficient communication paradigm,in which an RIS performs passive beamforming to enhance active transmission,while using the electromagnetic waves from the active transmission for additional information transfer(i.e.,passive transmission).In this paper,a hybrid RIS-based modulation,termed hybrid phase and code modulation(HPCM),is proposed to improve the reliability of RIS-assisted symbiotic radio.In RIS-HPCM,the RIS simultaneously performs direct sequence spread spectrum and passive beamforming on incident signals.Moreover,both the spreading code and phase offset are exploited to carry the RIS’s own information.A low-complexity detector is designed,in which the receiver first detects the spreading codes and then demodulates the constellation symbols.We analyze the bit error rate(BER)performance of RIS-HPCM over Rician fading channels.BER upper bounds and approximate BER expressions are derived in closed-form for maximum-likelihood and low-complexity detectors,respectively.Simulation results in terms of BER verify the analysis and show the superiority of RIS-HPCM over the existing RIS-based modulation. 展开更多
