Objective:To explore the application effect of virtual simulation teaching platform in the practical teaching of medical imaging.Methods:A total of 97 students majoring in medical imaging technology of class 2022 were...Objective:To explore the application effect of virtual simulation teaching platform in the practical teaching of medical imaging.Methods:A total of 97 students majoring in medical imaging technology of class 2022 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number method:control group(n=48)and observation group(n=49).The observation group was under the practical teaching mode based on the virtual simulation teaching platform,while the control group was under the traditional multimedia teaching mode.Questionnaire survey and teaching assessment were carried out after the teaching period,and the application effects of the two teaching modes were compared.Results:The reading and theoretical scores of the students in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the students in the control group(P<0.01);there were statistically significant differences in the results of the questionnaire survey(improved learning interest,improved language expression,improved ability to comprehensively analyze problems,and improved teamwork awareness)between the two groups of students(P<0.05);the students in the observation group were markedly more satisfied with the teaching content,teaching methods,and teaching quality than the students in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The medical imaging practical teaching mode based on virtual simulation platform not only helps improve students’theoretical understanding and practical ability in medical imaging technology,but also improves students’learning interest,language expression ability,ability to comprehensively analyze problems,communication skills,teamwork awareness,and satisfaction with the teaching content,teaching methods,and teaching quality.Therefore,it has wide application value in medical specialty education.展开更多

With the rapid development of network and communication techniques,the teaching forms have become diversified.To enhance the education experience and improve the teaching environment,an increasing number of educationa...With the rapid development of network and communication techniques,the teaching forms have become diversified.To enhance the education experience and improve the teaching environment,an increasing number of educational institutions have adopted virtual simulation technology.A typical teaching mechanism is to exploit Virtual Reality(VR)technology,which affords participants an immersive experience.Unquestionably,such a VRbased mode is highly approved.However,the performance of this technology requires further optimization.On one hand,for VR 360video,the current intraframe decision cannot adapt to rapid response demands.On the other hand,the generated data size is considerably large and fast computation may not be realized,depending on the local VR device.Therefore,this study proposes an improved teaching mechanism empowered by edge computing–driven VR,called VE4T,that involves two parts.First,an intraframe decision algorithm for VR 360videos is devised to realize the rapid responses.Second,an edge computing framework is proposed to offload some tasks to an edge server for computation,where a task scheduling strategy is developed to check whether a task needs to be offloaded.Finally,experiments are performed using a practical teaching scenario with some VR devices.The obtained results demonstrate that VE4T is more efficient than existing mechanisms.展开更多

A mathematical hydraulic support self-tracking model for three-machine cooperative mining is proposed to address low efficiency and difficulties in strategy evaluation of a fully mechanized coal face.The proposed mode...A mathematical hydraulic support self-tracking model for three-machine cooperative mining is proposed to address low efficiency and difficulties in strategy evaluation of a fully mechanized coal face.The proposed model uses the coordinates and traction speed of the shearer to calculate the frequency of the circular hydraulic support and realize the coordinated operation of the three-machine mining technology.A unity3d hardware-in-the-loop simulation experimental hearer and hydraulic support platform was used to validate the model of autonomous follow-up.The results indicate that collaborative control of coal mining allowed for an efficiency 3.76%higher than under automatic operation mode and 46.03%higher than under manual control;thus,The mathematical model provided an improved production efficiency of the fully mechanized mining face.The mathematical model also provides a more intelligent and reliable security support,and improves the intelligent level of hydraulic support follow-up control.展开更多
Virtual simulation technology is of great importance for the teleoperation of lunar rovers during the exploration phase,as well as the design of locomotion systems,performance evaluation,and control strategy verificat...Virtual simulation technology is of great importance for the teleoperation of lunar rovers during the exploration phase,as well as the design of locomotion systems,performance evaluation,and control strategy verification during the R&D phase.The currently used simulation methods for lunar rovers have several disadvantages such as poor fidelity for wheel-soil interaction mechanics,difficulty in simulating rough terrains,and high complexity making it difficult to realize mobility control in simulation systems.This paper presents an approach for the construction of a virtual simulation system that integrates the features of 3D modeling,wheel-soil interaction mechanics,dynamics analysis,mobility control,and visualization for lunar rovers.Wheel-soil interaction experiments are carried out to test the forces and moments acted on a lunar rover’s wheel by the soil with a vertical load of 80 N and slip ratios of 0,0.03,0.05,0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4,and 0.6.The experimental results are referenced in order to set the parameters’ values for the PAC2002 tire model of the ADAMS/Tire module.In addition,the rough lunar terrain is simulated with 3DS Max software after analyzing its characteristics,and a data-transfer program is developed with Matlab to simulate the 3D reappearance of a lunar environment in ADAMS.The 3D model of a lunar rover is developed by using Pro/E software and is then imported into ADAMS.Finally,a virtual simulation system for lunar rovers is developed.A path-following control strategy based on slip compensation for a six-wheeled lunar rover prototype is researched.The controller is implemented by using Matlab/Simulink to carry out joint simulations with ADAMS.The designed virtual lunar rover could follow the planned path on a rough terrain.This paper can also provide a reference scheme for virtual simulation and performance analysis of rovers moving on rough lunar terrains.展开更多

The remote collaborative virtual manufacturing system based on the CORBA technology is proposed in this paper. While virtual simulation has been empirically validated to be effective in the transfer of skills to the live environment, what is still unknown is what effect, if any, that an individual’s sense of presence in the simulation has on their performance. In this paper, we examine the relationship between presence and performance while performing a psychomotor task in a virtual environment. The independent variables were visual display and expertise level. The dependent variables were presence and performance. We found evidence of a moderate relationship between the degree of presence experienced in the simulation and an individual’s performance over three training trials. Results of this study may inspire future research to investigate whether higher presence in virtual simulation results in higher performance.展开更多

These vector data can be interactively edited and the landscape and be explored in real time at any altitude from flight view to car view. We design a context-focused vector description of linear can areal features, with associated customized definition painter to specify their appearance(color and material) and their display mode(detailed mode or simplified mode). There are some special problems in drawing vector graphics in virtual environment. Floating-point round-off error appear when we use a low view point to observe the scene, and it leads to scene jittering. Drawing 3D wide lines turns into a problem on 3D terrain. We design a view-based self-adaptive interpolation algorithm and an offset line generating algorithm to solve it. Our results show high performance with good visual quality.展开更多

文摘A mathematical hydraulic support self-tracking model for three-machine cooperative mining is proposed to address low efficiency and difficulties in strategy evaluation of a fully mechanized coal face.The proposed model uses the coordinates and traction speed of the shearer to calculate the frequency of the circular hydraulic support and realize the coordinated operation of the three-machine mining technology.A unity3d hardware-in-the-loop simulation experimental hearer and hydraulic support platform was used to validate the model of autonomous follow-up.The results indicate that collaborative control of coal mining allowed for an efficiency 3.76%higher than under automatic operation mode and 46.03%higher than under manual control;thus,The mathematical model provided an improved production efficiency of the fully mechanized mining face.The mathematical model also provides a more intelligent and reliable security support,and improves the intelligent level of hydraulic support follow-up control.

文摘Virtual simulation technology is of great importance for the teleoperation of lunar rovers during the exploration phase,as well as the design of locomotion systems,performance evaluation,and control strategy verification during the R&D phase.The currently used simulation methods for lunar rovers have several disadvantages such as poor fidelity for wheel-soil interaction mechanics,difficulty in simulating rough terrains,and high complexity making it difficult to realize mobility control in simulation systems.This paper presents an approach for the construction of a virtual simulation system that integrates the features of 3D modeling,wheel-soil interaction mechanics,dynamics analysis,mobility control,and visualization for lunar rovers.Wheel-soil interaction experiments are carried out to test the forces and moments acted on a lunar rover’s wheel by the soil with a vertical load of 80 N and slip ratios of 0,0.03,0.05,0.1,0.2,0.3,0.4,and 0.6.The experimental results are referenced in order to set the parameters’ values for the PAC2002 tire model of the ADAMS/Tire module.In addition,the rough lunar terrain is simulated with 3DS Max software after analyzing its characteristics,and a data-transfer program is developed with Matlab to simulate the 3D reappearance of a lunar environment in ADAMS.The 3D model of a lunar rover is developed by using Pro/E software and is then imported into ADAMS.Finally,a virtual simulation system for lunar rovers is developed.A path-following control strategy based on slip compensation for a six-wheeled lunar rover prototype is researched.The controller is implemented by using Matlab/Simulink to carry out joint simulations with ADAMS.The designed virtual lunar rover could follow the planned path on a rough terrain.This paper can also provide a reference scheme for virtual simulation and performance analysis of rovers moving on rough lunar terrains.

文摘This paper introduced the application of the WebGIS and virtual reality technology in the tourism industry and analyzed the existing problems in the tourism information system.Taking Daqing Oil Field Scenic Sport as an example,it introduced a method of constructing the virtual simulation platform for tourism based on the combination of WebGIS and virtual reality technology.Through the virtual simulation platform of Daqing Tourism Scenic Spot,it verified the design idea,methods,and technical feasibility of the virtual tourism system,and built a specific,feasible,and practical virtual simulation platform for tourism.It showed the bright prospects of virtual tourism development based on WebGIS and virtual reality technology.
文摘Most researches about virtual machine tool are emphasized on simulations of machine motion and machining process for single machine. In this paper,a virtual simulation system for remote collaborative surface machining is developed. The motion command of machine tool is generated by an interpolator,which can derive synchronized motion commands according to feedrate. Thus,the system can estimate the machining time. For universal assembly of five-axis virtual machine tool,it is based on the D-H notation representation and machining constraints consideration. The remote collaborative virtual manufacturing system based on the CORBA technology is proposed in this paper. It demonstrated that the developed virtual machine tool can be used to verify and simulate the machining process for the collaboration of the surface design and manufacturing team.
文摘The use of virtual simulation-based training continues to expand, as organizations explore alternative methods to reduce the cost of training. While virtual simulation has been empirically validated to be effective in the transfer of skills to the live environment, what is still unknown is what effect, if any, that an individual’s sense of presence in the simulation has on their performance. In this paper, we examine the relationship between presence and performance while performing a psychomotor task in a virtual environment. The independent variables were visual display and expertise level. The dependent variables were presence and performance. We found evidence of a moderate relationship between the degree of presence experienced in the simulation and an individual’s performance over three training trials. Results of this study may inspire future research to investigate whether higher presence in virtual simulation results in higher performance.

However, at present, academic research on virtual simulation experiments mostly focuses on key technologies, and there are few emotional studies on virtual experiments. Based on the three-layer model of emotional design theory, this paper puts forward the method strategy of emotional simulation design in virtual simulation experiment, in order to provide some reference value for the design of virtual simulation experiment.

文摘We present a method to represent multi-resolution vector graphics such as road networks or railway networks in virtual environment. These vector data can be interactively edited and the landscape and be explored in real time at any altitude from flight view to car view. We design a context-focused vector description of linear can areal features, with associated customized definition painter to specify their appearance(color and material) and their display mode(detailed mode or simplified mode). There are some special problems in drawing vector graphics in virtual environment. Floating-point round-off error appear when we use a low view point to observe the scene, and it leads to scene jittering. Drawing 3D wide lines turns into a problem on 3D terrain. We design a view-based self-adaptive interpolation algorithm and an offset line generating algorithm to solve it. Our results show high performance with good visual quality.
