The Chinese traditional medicine,agarwood,is a commonly used medicine for regulating qi,which has many clinical applications because of its unique curative effect.In this study,CiteSpace software was used to visually analyze the application and development trend of agarwood in the literature from CNKI website in the period of 2007-2022.The analysis results showed that the research on agarwood has basically formed core groups of authors,and universities and their affiliated hospitals are main publishing institutions.Moreover,in this study,several research directions of agarwood were also summarized,including clinical research,chemical composition,structural identification and quality standards,showing that agarwood has rich and flexible application prospects in many aspects.On this basis,several suggestions were put forward:strengthening the cooperation between universities and research institutes and building a scientific research cooperation community,and promoting the combination of clinical research and laboratory research. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Glycosylation,a commonly occurring post-translational modification,is highly expressed in several tumors,specifically in those of the digestive system,and plays a role in various cellular pathophysiological mechanisms.Although the importance and detection methods of glycosylation in digestive system tumors have garnered increasing attention in recent years,bibliometric analysis of this field remains scarce.The present study aims to identify the developmental trends and research hotspots of glycosylation in digestive system tumors.AIM To find and identify the developmental trends and research hotspots of glycosylation in digestive system tumors.METHODS We obtained relevant literature from the Web of Science Core Collection and employed VOSviewer 1.6.19 and CiteSpace(version 6.1.R6)to perform bibliometric analysis.RESULTS A total of 2042 documents spanning from 1978 to the present were analyzed,with the research process divided into three phases:the period of obscurity(1978-1990),continuous development period(1991-2006),and the rapid outbreak period(2007-2023).These documents were authored by researchers from 66 countries or regions,with the United States and China leading in terms of publication output.Reis Celso A had the highest number of publications,while Pinho SS was the most cited author.Co-occurrence analysis revealed the most popular keywords in this field are glycosylation,expression,cancer,colorectal cancer,and pancreatic cancer.Furthermore,the Journal of Proteome Research was the most prolific journal in terms of publications,while the Journal of Biological Chemistry had the most citations.CONCLUSION The bibliometric analysis shows current research focus is primarily on basic research in this field.However,future research should aim to utilize glycosylation as a target for treating tumor patients. 展开更多

BACKGROUND As a critical early event in hepatocellular carcinogenesis,telomerase activation might be a promising and critical biomarker for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)patients,and its function in the genesis and treatment of HCC has gained much attention over the past two decades.AIM To perform a bibliometric analysis to systematically assess the current state of research on HCC-related telomerase.METHODS The Web of Science Core Collection and PubMed were systematically searched to retrieve publications pertaining to HCC/telomerase limited to“articles”and“reviews”published in English.A total of 873 relevant publications related to HCC and telomerase were identified.We employed the Bibliometrix package in R to extract and analyze the fundamental information of the publications,such as the trends in the publications,citation counts,most prolific or influential writers,and most popular journals;to screen for keywords occurring at high frequency;and to draw collaboration and cluster analysis charts on the basis of coauthorship and co-occurrences.VOSviewer was utilized to compile and visualize the bibliometric data.RESULTS A surge of 51 publications on HCC/telomerase research occurred in 2016,the most productive year from 1996 to 2023,accompanied by the peak citation count recorded in 2016.Up to December 2023,35226 citations were made to all publications,an average of 46.6 citations to each paper.The United States received the most citations(n=13531),followed by China(n=7427)and Japan(n=5754).In terms of national cooperation,China presented the highest centrality,its strongest bonds being to the United States and Japan.Among the 20 academic institutions with the most publications,ten came from China and the rest of Asia,though the University of Paris Cité,Public Assistance-Hospitals of Paris,and the National Institute of Health and Medical Research(INSERM)were the most prolific.As for individual contributions,Hisatomi H,Kaneko S,and Ide T were the three most prolific authors.Kaneko S ranked first by H-index,G-index,and overall publication count,while Zucman-Rossi J ranked first in citation count.The five most popular journals were the World Journal of Gastroenterology,Hepatology,Journal of Hepatology,Oncotarget,and Oncogene,while Nature Genetics,Hepatology,and Nature Reviews Disease Primers had the most citations.We extracted 2293 keywords from the publications,120 of which appeared more than ten times.The most frequent were HCC,telomerase and human telomerase reverse transcriptase(hTERT).Keywords such as mutational landscape,TERT promoter mutations,landscape,risk,and prognosis were among the most common issues in this field in the last three years and may be topics for research in the coming years.CONCLUSION Our bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive overview of HCC/telomerase research and insights into promising upcoming research. 展开更多

Tea pigments have significant effects on human health.However,more attention have been paid to their physiological functions.The aim of this study was to analyze the quantitative and qualitative impact of tea pigments on human health,together with their current and potential future research directions.The study searched and screened 520 publications on WOS from January 2002 to December 2022.The article collected and collated literature published in the last 20 years and analyzed it bibliometrically for years,journals,countries,authors,topics,keywords and strongest citation bursts.The findings of keywords and strongest citation bursts revealed that the most discussed research topics were anticancer,black tea polyphenol,antioxidant,activator inhibitor,in vivo,gut microbiota,and summarize the relevant literature.As a reference for future research,the literature pointed out current shortcomings and speculated future development trend of tea pigments. 展开更多

Background With the development of information technology,there is a significant increase in the number of network traffic logs mixed with various types of cyberattacks.Traditional intrusion detection systems(IDSs)are limited in detecting new inconstant patterns and identifying malicious traffic traces in real time.Therefore,there is an urgent need to implement more effective intrusion detection technologies to protect computer security.Methods In this study,we designed a hybrid IDS by combining our incremental learning model(KANSOINN)and active learning to learn new log patterns and detect various network anomalies in real time.Conclusions Experimental results on the NSLKDD dataset showed that KAN-SOINN can be continuously improved and effectively detect malicious logs.Meanwhile,comparative experiments proved that using a hybrid query strategy in active learning can improve the model learning efficiency. 展开更多

[Objectives]Based on the related literature of benefit finding in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),this paper analyzes the research status,hot spots and trends in this field.[Methods]To search for the related literature on benefit finding in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),and use Citespace software to visually analyze the number of papers,authors,institutions and keywords.[Results]A total of 204 related papers were obtained,and the annual number of published papers showed a gradual increasing trend.The authors of published papers were represented by Zhang Fenglan,Liu Zhunzhun and Zhang Ting,and the Nursing College of Anhui Medical University published the most papers.The research focus was on social support,coping method and other influencing factors,and qualitative research was the main research type.The key population was breast cancer,stroke patients and their caregivers,and the development trend focused on reliability and validity test and correlation analysis.[Conclusions]The field of benefit finding in China is in the initial exploration stage,and there is little cooperation and exchange between authors and institutions.In the future,academic exchanges and multidisciplinary assistance should be strengthened to promote the rapid development of this field. 展开更多

Visual Analysis of Digital Healthcare Based on CiteSpace

Objective: Digital healthcare is rapidly becoming a new model for medical development in the information society with its convenience, and personalization, and a research boom in digital healthcare has formed at home and abroad in recent years. The purpose of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the field of digital healthcare and to understand the research background and development trend in this field. Methods: A visual analysis of authors, institutions, journals and keywords was conducted using CiteSpace 5.8R3 software. Results: A total of 1646 digital healthcare-related retrieved from WoS and PubMed studies. There was an overall upward trend in the number of digital healthcare publications, with the highest number of publications in 2021 (290). The author AZIZ SHEIKH is ranked first in the number of published articles (13), while King Saud University (23) is the research institution with the most articles. Keyword clustering showed that the first cluster was data security;the common high frequency keywords that appeared were systems (85), artificial intelligence (82), mobile health (70), internet (61), and technology (57). Digital healthcare, artificial intelligence, healthcare services, machine learning and deep learning are the hotspot of current research. Conclusion: This paper summarises the state of the art in digital healthcare research. Using statistical analysis and network visualisation, it highlights the background, trends and hot topics in digital healthcare research. The paper finds that there is significant potential for artificial intelligence to help bridge the digital divide and reduce health inequalities. To understand the current state, hot trends and future directions of digital healthcare research, this paper can serve as a reference. . 展开更多

Methods: The journal literatures related to the prevention and treatment of pulmonary interstitial fibrosis with TCM in recent 20 years in CNKI database were searched and passed through CiteSpace 5.8.R3 generates the knowledge map of relevant literature authors, document issuing institutions and keywords, and makes visual analysis. Results: A total of 1,576 documents were included, and the annual number of documents showed a fluctuating upward trend, forming a relatively stable research team represented by authors such as LYU Xiaodong, PANG Lijian and LIU Chuang;According to the atlas of document issuing institutions, Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and its affiliated hospitals ranked first in the number of documents issued, and the cooperation between institutions is dominated by the University of traditional Chinese medicine and its affiliated hospitals;Keyword cluster analysis shows that a large number of studies have been carried out in the field of etiology and pathogenesis, TCM compound, clinic and experiment. Conclusion: The research on the prevention and treatment of pulmonary interstitial fibrosis with TCM has a high degree of attention, but the cooperation network between the research authors and institutions needs to be strengthened. Insights into stem cell therapy for diabetic retinopathy: a bibliometric and visual analysis 被引量:3

Stem cells have been confirmed to be involved in the occurrence and development of diabetic retinopathy;however,the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.In this study,we used Citespace software to visually analyze 552 articles exploring the stem cell-based treatment of diabetic retinopathy over the past 20 years,which were included in the Web of Science Core Collection.We found the following:(1)a co-citation analysis of the references cited by all 552 articles indicated 15 clusters.In cluster#0,representing the stem cell field,some highly cited landmark studies emerged between 2009–2013.For example,endothelial progenitor cells and diabetic retinopathy gradually received the full attention of scholars,in terms of their relationship and therapeutic prospects.Some researchers also verified the potential of adipose-derived stem cells to differentiate into stable retinal perivascular cells,using a variety of animal models of retinal vascular disease.All of these achievements provided references for the subsequent stem cell research.(2)An analysis of popular keywords among the 552 articles revealed that,during the past 20 years,a relative increase in basic research articles examining stem cells and endothelial progenitor cells for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy was observed.The contents of these articles primarily involved the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor,vascular regeneration,oxidative stress,and inflammatory response.(3)A burst analysis of keywords used in the 552 articles indicated that genetic and cytological research regarding the promotion of angiogenesis was an issue of concern from 2001 to 2012,including several studies addressing the expression of various growth factor genes;from 2014 to 2020,mouse models of diabetic retinopathy were recognized as mature animal models,and the most recent research has focused on macular degeneration,macular edema,neurodegeneration,and inflammatory changes in diabetic animal models.(4)Globally,the current authoritative studies have focused on basic research towards the stem cell treatment of diabetic retinopathy.Existing clinical studies are of low quality and have insufficient evidence levels,and their findings have not yet been widely accepted in clinical practice.Major challenges during stem cell transplantation remain,including stem cell heterogeneity,cell delivery,and the effective homing of stem cells to damaged tissue.However,clinical trials examining potential stem cell-based treatments of diabetic retinopathy,including the use of pluripotent stem cells,retinal pigment epithelial cells,bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells,and endothelial progenitor cells,are currently ongoing,and high-quality clinical evidence is likely to appear in the future,to promote clinical transformation. 展开更多

Objective:The objective of this study is to explore the current situation,clinical research hot spots,and trends of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)nursing technology in rheumatoid arthritis(RA),to draw a panorama of clinical research,to provide the basis and clues for subsequent high-level evidence integration and further in-depth research.Materials and Methods:Seven databases including China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Chinese Scientific Journal Database(VIP),Wanfang Database,Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(Sino-Med),PubMed,Embase,and the Cochrane Library were searched.The bibliometric method and visualization software CiteSpace were used to conduct a multi-dimensional analysis of the included literature.Results:A total of 805 pieces of literature were included(of them,one was written in German and four in English),and the number of published literature showed an increasing trend year by year.There were only 30(3.73%)pieces of literature published in nursing journals.The hot spots of the co-occurrence map were concentrated in:(1)the nursing of fumigation in RA;(2)the efficacy evaluation of TCM nursing technology on pain,joint malformation,and joint dysfunction caused by RA.The included literature themes focused on five TCM technologies:fumigation,moxibustion,acupoint patching,acupoint injection,and Chinese herbal soaking.The beginning year and strength in TCM fumigation were 2012 and 5.2,and those in moxibustion were 2011 and 3.38.Conclusion:The related studies are on the rise.It has entered the field of international readers with clear research hot spots.However,there are still shortcomings such as little literature published in Chinese nursing core journals,few non-Chinese-related documents,and a lack of international exchanges and cooperation.The current research hot spots in this field are TCM fumigation,and the cutting-edge trend of future research may be fumigation and moxibustion technology.It is suggested that further research can focus on evidence integration and original research on the self-optimization of these two techniques. 展开更多

Visual Analysis of Literature about Curcumin and Diabetes Based on Web of Science

[Objectives]To analyze the current research situation,hotspots and trends of curcumin and diabetes in recent 10 years.[Methods]Web of Science database was set as data source,the annual number of papers,the distribution of authors,the distribution of country/institution,the distribution of journals,the distribution of key words in the literature about curcumin and diabetes from January 1,2010 to March 31,2021 were quantitatively and visually analyzed with the aid of visualization software Bibliometrix.[Results]A total of 475 articles were included,and the annual number of papers was on the rise;the top three high-yielding countries were China(120 papers),India(65 papers),and the United States(58 papers).In terms of international cooperation,China and the United States had the most cooperation(27 papers);the top three high-yielding institutions were Wenzhou Medical University(42 papers),Mashhad University of Medical Sciences(41 papers)and Tehran University of Medical Sciences(30 papers);the most frequently cited authors were Wang Y(19 times),Li X(13 times),Li Y(12 times),Liang G(12 times)and Zhang Y(12 times);the top three journals in number of papers were Diabetology&Metabolic Syndrome(8 papers),PLoS One(8 papers),and European Journal of Pharmacology(7 papers),and the h index was 7,8,and 6,respectively;the most frequently cited journals were Diabetes(496 times),Journal of Biological Chemistry(486 times),PLoS One(347 times),Diabetes Care(284 times),and European Journal of Pharmacology(229 times);the most frequent key words mainly included oxidative stress,curcumin,insulin-resistance and expression;the hotspots were insulin resistance and NF-κB,mainly focusing on in vitro experiments.[Conclusions]The curcumin has good therapeutic potential in improving insulin resistance,inhibiting inflammation and oxidative stress,etc.The results are expected provide a reference and basis for scientific researchers to understand the current situation of curcumin and diabetes research and carry out the further research. 展开更多

In recent years,global ecological and environmental problems have gradually become prominent,and green infrastructure(GI),as one of the effective measures to deal with environmental problems,has gradually attracted attention from various fields.In this paper,green infrastructure is taken as the research object,and a total of 1950 related documents in the core database of"web of science"from 1995 to 2021 are taken as the basic data source.By using CiteSpace visualization software,the network of scholars,the distribution characteristics of journals,highly cited articles,prominent keywords,research hotspots and future research trends of related documents are analyzed.The analysis results show that the research on green infrastructure at home and abroad continues to increase;the research on green infrastructure mainly focuses on urban planning,ecosystem services,ecological environment and other issues;the research field of green infrastructure has gradually changed from traditional research fields such as urban planning,architectural engineering and ecology to land use management,urban healthy development,urban sustainable development,physical heat radiation and other fields;at present,research on green infrastructure mainly involves urban planning,ecology and other fields;the future research on green infrastructure will involve the field of physical heat radiation.The purpose is to provide valuable scientific basis and theoretical basis for the future green infrastructure construction in China. 展开更多

Background:This paper uses information visualization software to sort out the relevant research of Neuman systems model at home and abroad in the past 20 years,and discusses the research hotspots and development trend in the field of Neuman systems model,so as to provide scientific and reliable reference for the future work and research.Methods:By using CiteSpace V software,this paper analyzes the literatures about the Neuman systems model collected in the core web of science database and CNKI database from 2001 to 2020,and analyzes the time distribution,research power distribution,research hotspots,research frontier and development trend of the Neuman systems model at home and abroad in the past 20 years.Results:The development trend of research in this field in foreign countries is relatively stable.The core strength of research is mainly in the United States,and the research hotspots are health,quality of life,caregivers,spirituality,etc;the research in this field in China is gradually on the rise,and there is no obvious research force,and the research hotspots are mainly quality of life,complications,anxiety,stressors,perioperative period,hypertension,etc.Conclusions:It has been proved that the model has a certain guiding effect on the development of nursing discipline in China.In China,there is still room for development in the research of this model.It is suggested that Chinese scholars can learn from foreign leading research forces to carry out in-depth research and expand its application scope. 展开更多

Backgroud:To provide a reference for the further development of the field of the advance care planning(ACP),through the visual analysis of the related literature on the ACP.Methods:Taking the core collection database of Web of ScienceTM as data sources,the method of subject word retrieval is adopted.Literature metrology and CiteSpaceⅤinformation visualization software were used to analyze the literature on ACP published from inception to September 2019.Results:A total of 1,981 literature were included.The number of ACP studies increased,USA published the most literature in the world,followed by Australia,Britain,Canada and the Netherlands and so on.The most leading published journal was the Journal of Palliative Medicine,and the highest impact factor was Palliative Medicine(4.956).Sudore,Rebecca L and Hillary D Lum are the key researcher networks with the largest amount of articles published in ACP field.The research content mainly included the definition,implementation process and implementation effect of ACP.Research focused on palliative care,hospice care,decision-making,communication,patient preference and so on.Conclusion:The studies on ACP is on the rise,the research content is deepening,which suggests that we can learn from the research results of foreign countries in this field and continue to deepen the research in the field of ACP in China. 展开更多

Background:To apply CiteSpace software to the hotspot,trend and cutting-edge dynamics of limb spasm after stroke in nearly 20 years.Methods:From 2000 to 2018,spasming literature in the Web of Science database were searched,and cooperative analysis of authors'national institutions was conducted by using CiteSpace software,keyword analysis and cluster analysis,citation analysis of authors'literature journals,and visual map.Results:2005 articles were retrieved,and the number of articles increased year by year,and the country with the most articles was the United States.Keyword analysis shows that mechanistic research and clinical treatment of spasticity are research hotspots in this field.The most posts are Northwestern Univ and Univ Verona.Conclusion:Through the CiteSpace software analysis of spasticity literature,it is found that the research focus is embodied in the nerve regeneration technology and the standardized clinical study of botulinum toxin type A application,which has certain reference significance for the future research direction of spasticity. 展开更多

Objective:To understand the research status of corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19),analyze research hotspots and dynamic frontiers,and provide ideas for the research of COVID-19.Methods:Bibliometrics method was used to retrieve documents related to COVID-19 research through China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Web of Science,Pubmed databases,and the number of literature data,author,country,institution,source,keywords using CiteSpace,SPSS,Excel perform statistical analysis on other aspects,explain the current status and development trend of new coronavirus pneumonia research,and analyze and identify the research hotspots and dynamic frontiers of COVID-19 through the visual presentation of knowledge graph.Results:With the global spread of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic,a large number of studies on COVID-19 have been performed worldwide.In this paper,a total of 7,647 articles were retrieved through a database search,and 5,182 documents that met the criteria were selected for bibliographic analysis,including 2,388 Chinese documents.Articles,2,794 English literature,a total of 94 countries,3,985 institutions,10,339 authors participated in the relevant research of COVID-19,involving 999 kinds of journals,the Chinese scientific research team played a major role in the COVID-19 research,providing an important epidemic situation related research results.Conclusion:The current research focus is primarily on disease recognition,epidemic prevention and control,traditional Chinese medicine,clinical diagnosis and treatment,and epidemiology. 展开更多

A Varian Trilogy Linac equipped with dual photon ... Data visualization technique was applied to analyze the daily QA results of photon and electron beams. Special attention was paid to any trend the beams might display. A Varian Trilogy Linac equipped with dual photon energies and five electron energies was commissioned in early 2010. Daily Linac QA tests including the output constancy, beam flatness and symmetry (radial and transverse directions) were performed with an ionization chamber array device (QA Beam Checker Plus, Standard Imaging). The data of five years were collected and analyzed. For each energy, the measured data were exported and processed for visual trending using an in-house Matlab program. These daily data were cross-correlated with the monthly QA and annual QA results, as well as the preventive maintenance records. Majority of the output were within 1% of variation, with a consistent positive/upward drift for all seven energies (^+0.25% per month). The baseline of daily device is reset annually right after the TG-51 calibration. This results in a sudden drop of the output. On the other hand, the large amount of data using the same baseline exhibits a sinusoidal behavior (period = 12 months;amplitude = 0.8%, 0.5% for photons, electrons, respectively) on symmetry and flatness when normalization of baselines is accounted for. The well known phenomenon of new Linac output drift was clearly displayed. This output drift was a result of the air leakage of the over-pressurized sealed monitor chambers for the specific vendor. Data visualization is a new trend in the era of big data in radiation oncology research. It allows the data to be displayed visually and therefore more intuitive. Based on the visual display from the past, the physicist might predict the trend of the Linac and take actions proactively. It also makes comparisons, alerts failures, and potentially identifies causalities. 展开更多
