Objective: To explore the effectiveness of applying patient simulators combined with Internet Plus scenario simulation teaching models on intravenous (IV) infusion nursing education, and to provide scientific evidence...Objective: To explore the effectiveness of applying patient simulators combined with Internet Plus scenario simulation teaching models on intravenous (IV) infusion nursing education, and to provide scientific evidence for the implementation of advanced teaching models in future nursing education. Methods: Enrolled 60 nurses who took the IV infusion therapy training program in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 for research. 30 nurses who were trained in traditional teaching models from January to December 2022 were selected as the control group, and 30 nurses who were trained with simulation-based teaching models with methods including simulated patients, internet, online meetings which can be replayed and scenario simulation, etc. from January to December 2023 were selected as the experimental group. Evaluated the learning outcomes based on the Competency Inventory for Nursing Students (CINS), Problem-Solving Inventory (PSI), comprehensive learning ability, scientific research ability, and proficiency in the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of IV infusion therapy. Nursing quality, the incidence of IV infusion therapy complications and nurse satisfaction with different teaching models were also measured. Results: The scientific research ability, PSI scores, CINS scores, and comprehensive learning ability of the experimental group were better than those of the control group (P 0.05), and their assessment results of practical skills, nursing quality of IV infusion therapy during training, and satisfaction with teaching models were all better than those of the control group with statistical significance (P < 0.05). The incidence of IV infusion therapy complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, indicating statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusions: Teaching models based on patient simulators combined with Internet Plus scenario simulation enable nursing students to learn more directly and practice at any time and in any place, and can improve their proficiency in IV infusion theoretical knowledge and skills (e.g. PICC catheterization), core competencies, problem-solving ability, comprehensive learning ability, scientific research ability and the ability to deal with complicated cases. BACKGROUND Physical education is pivotal in our country’s education reform.Urban schools have notably enhanced the intensity of physical education in recent years.However,the effects of physical education on students...BACKGROUND Physical education is pivotal in our country’s education reform.Urban schools have notably enhanced the intensity of physical education in recent years.However,the effects of physical education on students'anxiety,depression,and self-esteem levels,as well as their interrelations,remain unexplored.Compared with the domestic norms,SAS and SDS scores were higher,and SES scores were lower(P<0.05).Among the participants,210(43.93%)had PARS-3 scores below 20,94(19.67%)had scores of 20-42,and 174(36.40%)had scores above 42.After adjusting for daily sleep time,gender,being an only child,major,father’s educational background,mother’s educational background,and family residence,PARS-3 scores were independent influencing factors for anxiety,depression,and low self-esteem(P<0.05).The AUC of PARS-3 scores predicting anxiety,depression,and low self-esteem were 0.805(0.760-0.849),0.799(0.755-0.843),and 0.831(0.788-0.874),respectively.The sensitivities were 0.799,0.801,and 0.748,and the specificities were 0.743,0.716,and 0.814,respectively.PARS-3 was negatively correlated with SAS and SDS scores(r=-0.566,-0.621,both P<0.001)and positively correlated with SES scores(r=-0.621,P<0.001).SES scores were negatively correlated with SAS and SDS scores(r=-0.508,r=-0.518,both P<0.001).CONCLUSION The amount of physical activity is negatively correlated with anxiety and depression degree and positively correlated with self-esteem degree.展开更多
Objective:To determine the effect of physical activity by using the teach-back educational method on hemodialysis patients’quality of life(QOL)and physical ability.Methods:This is a single-blind clinical trial study ...Objective:To determine the effect of physical activity by using the teach-back educational method on hemodialysis patients’quality of life(QOL)and physical ability.Methods:This is a single-blind clinical trial study involving a control group.A total of 90 patients who admitted to the dialysis centers of Beheshti and Besat hospitals in Hamadan were selected using a convenience sampling method and were randomly assigned to intervention(n=45)and control(n=45)groups.Data were collected using a demographic information checklist,a kidney disease QOL questionnaire,and a 6-minute-walk distance(6MWD)checklist.The patients’QOL questionnaire was completed,and the 6MWD was recorded before and at the end of the 2nd,4th,6th,8th,and 12th weeks of the intervention.In the intervention group,the patients were taught to perform physical activities with Pilates stretches in different resistances using the teach-back educational method during dialysis sessions for 12 weeks.Data were analyzed by using the independent t-test and chi-square test using SPSS-22 software.Results:Before the intervention,no differences were observed between the experimental and control groups in terms of demographic characteristics,QOL,and physical ability(P>0.05).The physical ability and QOL levels of patients exercising in the test group were higher than those in the control group after the intervention(P<0.05).Based on the results,the 2 groups significantly differed with regard to the scores of various dimensions of QOL and physical ability after the intervention(P<0.05).Conclusions:Physical activity by using the teach-back method can effectively increase physical ability and improve QOL of hemodialysis patients.Therefore,the recommendations and inclusion of exercise in the dialysis care plan can effectively promote patients’health.展开更多

文摘BACKGROUND Physical education is pivotal in our country’s education reform.Urban schools have notably enhanced the intensity of physical education in recent years.However,the effects of physical education on students'anxiety,depression,and self-esteem levels,as well as their interrelations,remain unexplored.Compared with the domestic norms,SAS and SDS scores were higher,and SES scores were lower(P<0.05).Among the participants,210(43.93%)had PARS-3 scores below 20,94(19.67%)had scores of 20-42,and 174(36.40%)had scores above 42.After adjusting for daily sleep time,gender,being an only child,major,father’s educational background,mother’s educational background,and family residence,PARS-3 scores were independent influencing factors for anxiety,depression,and low self-esteem(P<0.05).The AUC of PARS-3 scores predicting anxiety,depression,and low self-esteem were 0.805(0.760-0.849),0.799(0.755-0.843),and 0.831(0.788-0.874),respectively.The sensitivities were 0.799,0.801,and 0.748,and the specificities were 0.743,0.716,and 0.814,respectively.PARS-3 was negatively correlated with SAS and SDS scores(r=-0.566,-0.621,both P<0.001)and positively correlated with SES scores(r=-0.621,P<0.001).SES scores were negatively correlated with SAS and SDS scores(r=-0.508,r=-0.518,both P<0.001).CONCLUSION The amount of physical activity is negatively correlated with anxiety and depression degree and positively correlated with self-esteem degree.

文摘Objective:To determine the effect of physical activity by using the teach-back educational method on hemodialysis patients’quality of life(QOL)and physical ability.Methods:This is a single-blind clinical trial study involving a control group.A total of 90 patients who admitted to the dialysis centers of Beheshti and Besat hospitals in Hamadan were selected using a convenience sampling method and were randomly assigned to intervention(n=45)and control(n=45)groups.Data were collected using a demographic information checklist,a kidney disease QOL questionnaire,and a 6-minute-walk distance(6MWD)checklist.The patients’QOL questionnaire was completed,and the 6MWD was recorded before and at the end of the 2nd,4th,6th,8th,and 12th weeks of the intervention.In the intervention group,the patients were taught to perform physical activities with Pilates stretches in different resistances using the teach-back educational method during dialysis sessions for 12 weeks.Data were analyzed by using the independent t-test and chi-square test using SPSS-22 software.Results:Before the intervention,no differences were observed between the experimental and control groups in terms of demographic characteristics,QOL,and physical ability(P>0.05).The physical ability and QOL levels of patients exercising in the test group were higher than those in the control group after the intervention(P<0.05).Based on the results,the 2 groups significantly differed with regard to the scores of various dimensions of QOL and physical ability after the intervention(P<0.05).Conclusions:Physical activity by using the teach-back method can effectively increase physical ability and improve QOL of hemodialysis patients.Therefore,the recommendations and inclusion of exercise in the dialysis care plan can effectively promote patients’health.
