At present, there are two drastic approaches that recessively rely on textbooks and completely toss out textbooks in colleges and universities. Moreover, separation of learning and production as well as disengagement of language and morality in the teaching of foreign languages based on teaching materials. With the theoretical guidance of the Production-Oriented Approach, this design adapts one of the lessons in the textbook of New Horizon College English to carry out the process-based design of ideological and political teaching processes, namely, motivating-enabling-assessing, aiming to promote the transformation of learners’ receptive knowledge into productive skills, and provide a new path for the cultivation of professionals equipped with both language and morality.展开更多
