Due to the mismatch of the circuit oscillators,there will always be a frequency offset between the transmitter and the receiver.In the adjacent channel interference(ACI)suppression system using the reconstruction and cancellation method,the frequency offset decreases the accuracy of the reconstructed signal and introduces a time-varying term in the interference cancellation,resulting in poor performance of the ACI suppression.In this paper,the relationship between the normalized frequency offset,signal-to-noise ratio and the loss of interference suppression capability is analyzed through formula derivation and simulation.The validity of the frequency offset compensation method based on the pilot sequence is verified,and the relationship between the sequence length and the estimation accuracy is given.This paper provides necessary method reference and data support for the engineering of ACI suppression. 展开更多

In decades,the battlefield environment is becoming more and more complex with plenty of electronic equipments.Thus,in order to improve the survivability of radar sensors and satisfy the requirement of maneuvering target tracking with a low probability of intercept,a non-myopic scheduling is proposed to minimize the radiation cost with tracking accuracy constraint.At first,the scheduling problem is formulated as a partially observable Markov decision process(POMDP).Then the tracking accuracy and radiation cost over the future finite time horizon are predicted by the posterior carmer-rao lower bound(PCRLB) and the hidden Markov model filter,respectively.Finally,the proposed scheduling is implemented efficiently by utilizing the branch and bound(B&B) pruning algorithm.Simulation results show that the performance of maneuvering target tracking was improved by the improved interacting multiple model(IMM),and the scheduler time and maximum memory consumption were significant reduced by the present B&B pruning algorithm without losing the optimal solution. 展开更多

The development of inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR) imaging techniques is of notable significance for monitoring, tracking and identifying space targets in orbit. Usually, a well-focused ISAR image of a space target can be obtained in a deliberately selected imaging segment in which the target moves with only uniform planar rotation. However, in some imaging segments, the nonlinear range migration through resolution cells(MTRCs) and time-varying Doppler caused by the three-dimensional rotation of the target would degrade the ISAR imaging performance, and it is troublesome to realize accurate motion compensation with conventional methods. Especially in the case of low signal-to-noise ratio(SNR),the estimation of motion parameters is more difficult. In this paper, a novel algorithm for high-resolution ISAR imaging of a space target by using its precise ephemeris and orbital motion model is proposed. The innovative contributions are as follows. 1) The change of a scatterer projection position is described with the spatial-variant angles of imaging plane calculated based on the orbital motion model of the three-axis-stabilized space target. 2) A correction method of MTRC in slant-and cross-range dimensions for arbitrarily imaging segment is proposed. 3) Coarse compensation for translational motion using the precise ephemeris and the fine compensation for residual phase errors by using sparsity-driven autofocus method are introduced to achieve a high-resolution ISAR image. The imaging plane of inverse synthetic aperture radar(ISAR) is the projection plane of the target. When taking an image using the range-Doppler theory, the imaging plane may have a spatial-variant property, which causes the change of scatter's projection position and results in migration through resolution cells. In this study, we focus on the spatial-variant property of the imaging plane of a three-axis-stabilized space target. The innovative contributions are as follows. 1) The target motion model in orbit is provided based on a two-body model. 2) The instantaneous imaging plane is determined by the method of vector analysis. 3) Three Euler angles are introduced to describe the spatial-variant property of the imaging plane, and the image quality is analyzed. The simulation results confirm the analysis of the spatial-variant property. The research in this study is significant for the selection of the imaging segment, and provides the evidence for the following data processing and compensation algorithm. 展开更多

Continuous and stable tracking of the ground maneuvering target is a challenging problem due to the complex terrain and high clutter. A collaborative tracking method of the multisensor network is presented for the ground maneuvering target in the presence of the detection blind zone(DBZ). First, the sensor scheduling process is modeled within the partially observable Markov decision process(POMDP) framework. To evaluate the target tracking accuracy of the sensor, the Fisher information is applied to constructing the reward function. The key of the proposed scheduling method is forecasting and early decisionmaking. Thus, an approximate method based on unscented sampling is presented to estimate the target state and the multi-step scheduling reward over the prediction time horizon. Moreover, the problem is converted into a nonlinear optimization problem, and a fast search algorithm is given to solve the sensor scheduling scheme quickly. Simulation results demonstrate the proposed nonmyopic scheduling method(Non-MSM) has a better target tracking accuracy compared with traditional methods. 展开更多

The high-speed impact of a projectile on a liquid-filled tank causes the hydraulic ram,in which a cavity is formed.To study the growth characteristics of the cavity,the formation mechanism of the cavity is analyzed.The effect of Reynolds number and Mach number on drag coefficient is considered,the axial and radial growth models of the cavity are established respectively.The relative errors between the cavity length calculated by the axial growth model,the cavity diameter calculated by the radial growth model and Ma L.Y.test results are less than 20%,which verifies the effectiveness of the axial and radial growth models.Finally,numerical simulation is carried out to study the growth characteristics of the cavity caused by the projectile impacting the satellite tank at the velocity of 4000 m/s.The cavity length and diameter calculated by the axial and radial growth models agree well with those obtained by simulation results,indicating that the cavity length and diameter in satellite tank can be accurately calculated by the axial and radial growth models. 展开更多

The system can be repaired through elimination in real time and evolved to optimize the allocation of system resources with this method. The proposed self-repair method not only ensures the speed of the system's self-repair,but also makes full use of system resources to improve the system's self-repair capacity and provides a new self-repair approach for bio-inspired electronic system. In many areas, reliability of the digital circuits has become the key factor to restrict circuit development. Fault-tolerant design is the commonly used method to improve the reliability of digital circuits. The current fault-tolerant design methods are based on triple modular redundancy( TMR) or multiple modular redundancy( MMR). These redundancy designs rely on the experience of the designers,and the designed circuits have poor adaptabilities to a complex environment. However, evolutionary design of digital circuits does not rely on prior knowledge. During the evolution, some novel and optimal circuit topologies can be found, and the evolved circuits can feature strong adaptive capacities. Based on Cartesian genetic programming( CGP), a novel method for designing fault-tolerant digital circuits by evolution is proposed,key steps of the evolution are introduced,influences of function sets on evolution are investigated,and as a preliminary result,an evolved full adder with high fault-tolerance is shown. 展开更多

Airborne passive electronic reconnaissance equipment has developed rapidly during recent years.However,because of its expensive and unavailable military features,the simulation realization of these equipment needs to be solved.And the smaller the simulation particle is,the better the simulation system will be.In this study,a signal-level airborne electronic reconnaissance simulation system was built.Mathematical model and simulation realization of each part are introduced in this study.Focusing on the shortness of traditional signal sorting methods,we creatively proposed a presorting method based on the Euclidean distance inside signal flows.Simulation results show that the presorting method based on Euclidean distance successfully reduced the pressure on main sorting and appeared good for signal sorting.Simulation test results of each model built in this study are also shown in the study.This study provides a new thought on the realization of airborne electronic reconnaissance equipment and benefits the development of electronic countermeasure. 展开更多

Due to the limitations of the existing fault detection methods in the embryonic cellular array(ECA), the fault detection coverage cannot reach 100%. In order to evaluate the reliability of the ECA more accurately, embryonic cell and its input and output(I/O) resources are considered as a whole, named functional unit(FU). The FU fault detection coverage parameter is introduced to ECA reliability analysis, and a new ECA reliability evaluation method based on the Markov status graph model is proposed.Simulation experiment results indicate that the proposed ECA reliability evaluation method can evaluate the ECA reliability more effectively and accurately. Based on the proposed reliability evaluation method, the influence of parameters change on the ECA reliability is studied, and simulation experiment results show that ECA reliability can be improved by increasing the FU fault detection coverage and reducing the FU failure rate. In addition, by increasing the scale of the ECA, the reliability increases to the maximum first, and then it will decrease continuously. ECA reliability variation rules can not only provide theoretical guidance for the ECA optimization design, but also point out the direction for further research. 展开更多

This paper deals with the follower jamming(FJ)resistance for the frequency hopping(FH)communication system over additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN)channel.Conventional FH systems are susceptible to be jammed by FJ,and multi-pattern frequency hopping(MPFH)has good resistance to FJ.To further improve the FJ rejection capability of MPFH,we propose a wide gap multi-pattern frequency hopping(WGMPFH)scheme.WGMPFH uses channels to represent messages,and the data channel and complementary channel are hopping on orthogonal frequency slots according to wide gap FH patterns.The transmitted signal lures FJ to aim at the data channel and the complementary channel is away from FJ by adopting wide gap frequency patterns.FJ does not affect the complementary channel but increases the signal energy in the data channel,thus the effect of FJ is reduced.Its bit error rate(BER)is derived under FJ and the effects of three FJ parameters(tracking success probability,jamming duration ratio and jamming bandwidth ratio)on the BER performance of WGMPFH are investigated versus the co nventional FH/BFSK and MPFH system.Numerical and simulation results show that when under the worst-case FJ,the proposed WGMPFH outperforms the MPFH by about 1-3 dB and outperforms the conventional FH/BFSK by more than 4 dB.The proposed WGMPFH shows superior jamming rejection performance under FJ especially in severe signal-to-jamming ratio(SJR). 展开更多

A multi-sensor-system cooperative scheduling method for multi-task collaboration is proposed in this paper.We studied the method for application in ground area detection and target tracking.The aim of sensor scheduling is to select the optimal sensors to complete the assigned combat tasks and obtain the best combat benefits.First,an area detection model was built,and the method of calculating the detection risk was proposed to quantify the detection benefits in scheduling.Then,combining the information on road constraints and the Doppler blind zone,a ground target tracking model was established,in which the posterior Carmér-Rao lower bound was applied to evaluate future tracking accuracy.Finally,an objective function was developed which considers the requirements of detection,tracking,and energy consumption control.By solving the objective function,the optimal sensor-scheduling scheme can be obtained.Simulation results showed that the proposed sensor-scheduling method can select suitable sensors to complete the required combat tasks,and provide good performance in terms of area detection,target tracking,and energy consumption control. 展开更多

In the face of harsh natural environment applications such as earth-orbiting and deep space satellites, underwater sea vehicles, strong electromagnetic interference and temperature stress,the circuits faults appear easily. Circuit faults will inevitably lead to serious losses of availability or impeded mission success without self-repair over the mission duration. Traditional fault-repair methods based on redundant fault-tolerant technique are straightforward to implement, yet their area, power and weight cost can be excessive. Moreover they utilize all plug-in or component level circuits to realize redundant backup, such that their applicability is limited. Hence, a novel selfrepair technology based on evolvable hardware(EHW) and reparation balance technology(RBT) is proposed. Its cost is low, and fault self-repair of various circuits and devices can be realized through dynamic configuration. Making full use of the fault signals, correcting circuit can be found through EHW technique to realize the balance and compensation of the fault output-signals. In this paper, the self-repair model was analyzed which based on EHW and RBT technique, the specific self-repair strategy was studied, the corresponding self-repair circuit fault system was designed, and the typical faults were simulated and analyzed which combined with the actual electronic devices. Simulation results demonstrated that the proposed fault self-repair strategy was feasible. Compared to traditional techniques, fault self-repair based on EHW consumes fewer hardware resources, and the scope of fault self-repair was expanded significantly. 展开更多

Precise control of a magnetically suspended double-gimbal control moment gyroscope (MSDGCMG) is of vital importance and challenge to the attitude positioning of spacecraft owing to its multivariable, nonlinear and strong coupled properties. This paper proposes a novel linearization and decoupling method based on differential geometry theory and combines it with the internal model controller (IMC) to guarantee the system robustness to the external disturbance and parameter uncertainty. Furthermore, by introducing the dynamic compensation for the inner-gimbal rate-servo system and the magnetically suspended rotor (MSR) system only, we can eliminate the influence of the unmodeled dynamics to the decoupling control accuracy as well as save costs and inhibit noises effectively. The simulation results verify the nice decoupling and robustness performance of the system using the proposed method. 展开更多

At present, EA configuration design is lack of quantitative analysis method. In order to reasonably optimize EA configuration design, an EA configuration optimization design method is proposed, which is based on the constraints of EA hardware consumption and reliability. Through the analysis of EA working process and composition, quantitative analysis of EA reliability and hardware consumption are completed. Based on the constraints of EA hardware consumption and reliability, the mathematical model of EA configuration optimization design is established, which transfers EA configuration optimization design into an integer nonlinear programming model problem. According to the difference of the fitness value of individual waiting for mutation in population, adaptive mutation operator and crossover operator are selected, and a novel Modified Adaptive Differential Evolution(MADE) algorithm is proposed,which is used to solve EA configuration optimization design problem. Simulation experiments and analysis indicate that the MADE is able to effectively improve the speed, accuracy and stability of algorithm. Moreover, the proposed EA configuration optimization design method can select the most reasonable EA configuration design, and play an important guiding role in EA optimization design. 展开更多

Optimal design of RTCs in digital circuit fault self-repair based on global signal optimization

Since digital circuits have been widely and thoroughly applied in various fields, electronic systems are increasingly more complicated and require greater reliability. Faults may occur in electronic systems in complicated environments. If immediate field repairs are not made on the faults, electronic systems will not run normally, and this will lead to serious losses. The traditional method for improving system reliability based on redundant fault-tolerant technique has been unable to meet the requirements. Therefore, on the basis of(evolvable hardware)-based and(reparation balance technology)-based electronic circuit fault self-repair strategy proposed in our preliminary work, the optimal design of rectification circuits(RTCs) in electronic circuit fault self-repair based on global signal optimization is deeply researched in this paper. First of all, the basic theory of RTC optimal design based on global signal optimization is proposed. Secondly, relevant considerations and suitable ranges are analyzed. Then, the basic flow of RTC optimal design is researched. Eventually, a typical circuit is selected for simulation verification, and detailed simulated analysis is made on five circumstances that occur during RTC evolution. The simulation results prove that compared with the conventional design method based RTC, the global signal optimization design method based RTC is lower in hardware cost, faster in circuit evolution, higher in convergent precision, and higher in circuit evolution success rate. Therefore, the global signal optimization based RTC optimal design method applied in the electronic circuit fault self-repair technology is proven to be feasible, effective, and advantageous. 展开更多

To improve the signal detection performance of binary-sequence frequency hopping communication when the complementary channel is jammed, a binary-sequence frequency hopping communication system based on pseudo-random liner frequency modulation (LFM) is proposed. The transmitting end uses the chirp signal to carry out the in-band spread spectrum of the binary-sequence frequency hopping signal, and then sends it out through the radio frequency front end. At the receiving end, the received signal is dehopped and processed by fractional Fourier transform. The source information is obtained by sampling decision. Firstly, a binary-sequence frequency hopping system model based on pseudo-random LFM is constructed. Secondly, the bit error rate expression of anti-partial band jamming and follower jamming under the Rice channel is derived. The results show that this method has at least 5 dB performance gain than binary sequence frequency hopping for different parameter settings under partial band jamming and follower jamming, and the anti-jamming performance is significantly better than the conventional frequency hopping communication. 展开更多

The detection capabilities of passive electronic warfare reconnaissance equipment have substantially increased during recent years.Correspondingly,the radar equipment is required to take various means to improve the radio frequency(RF)stealth performance to ensure the transmitted RF signal does not get intercepted.However,traditional evaluation methods on RF stealth performance cannot accurately evaluate the RF stealth capabilities of new system radar.In this study,a joint interception probability evaluation model on RF stealth performance was established,which divided the interception process into two parts:front interception and system interception.Various RF stealth means adopted by different radar equipment were taken into consideration to improve the applicability of this model.Simulation results show that this model is able to effectively characterize almost all the aspects of the RF stealth features and can serve as a good reference to evaluate RF radar stealth performance comprehensively. 展开更多
