Objective:This study was conducted to explore the relationships among sedentary behavior(SB),electronic product addiction(EPA),and depression(D)in adolescents during the COVID-19 epidemic.Methods:A total of 604 adoles...Objective:This study was conducted to explore the relationships among sedentary behavior(SB),electronic product addiction(EPA),and depression(D)in adolescents during the COVID-19 epidemic.Methods:A total of 604 adolescents(including 309 girls and 295 boys aged 12-18)were selected from Qufu City,Shandong Province,China for three rounds of investigation.The model was constructed using AMOS 23.0 software,and cross-lagged analysis was conducted.Results:SB at T1 can significantly positively predict SB and EPA at T2(p<0.05).EPA at T1 can significantly positively predict SB and D at T2(p<0.05).Physical activity level and SB at T2 can significantly predict SB and EPA at T3(p<0.05).EPA at T2 can significantly predict SB,EPA,and D at T3(p<0.05).Conclusions:SB and EPA are predictive factors for D.Moreover,SB can significantly positively predict D and indirectly predict D through the mediating effect of EPA.展开更多

Currently,data security mainly relies on password(PW)or system channel key(SKCH)to encrypt data before they are sent,no matter whether in broadband networks,the 5th generation(5G)mobile communications,satellite commun...Currently,data security mainly relies on password(PW)or system channel key(SKCH)to encrypt data before they are sent,no matter whether in broadband networks,the 5th generation(5G)mobile communications,satellite communications,and so on.In these environments,a fixed password or channel key(e.g.,PW/SKCH)is often adopted to encrypt different data,resulting in security risks since thisPW/SKCH may be solved after hackers collect a huge amount of encrypted data.Actually,the most popularly used security mechanism Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)has its own problems,e.g.,several rounds have been solved.On the other hand,if data protected by the same PW/SKCH at different time points can derive different data encryption parameters,the system’s security level will be then greatly enhanced.Therefore,in this study,a security scheme,named Wrapping Encryption Based on Double Randomness Mechanism(WEBDR),is proposed by integrating a password key(or a system channel key)and an Initialization Vector(IV)to generate an Initial Encryption Key(IEK).Also,an Accumulated Shifting Substitution(ASS)function and a three-dimensional encryption method are adopted to produce a set of keys.Two randomness encryption mechanisms are developed.The first generates system sub-keys and calculates the length of the first pseudo-random numbers by employing IEK for providing subsequent encryption/decryption.The second produces a random encryption key and a sequence of internal feedback codes and computes the length of the second pseudo-random numbers for encrypting delivered messages.A wrapped mechanism is further utilized to pack a ciphertext file so that a wrapped ciphertext file,rather than the ciphertext,will be produced and then transmitted to its destination.The findings are as follows.Our theoretic analyses and simulations demonstrate that the security of the WEBDR in cloud communication has achieved its practical security.Also,AES requires 176 times exclusive OR(XOR)operations for both encryption and decryption,while the WEBDR consumes only 3 operations.That is why the WEBDR is 6.7∼7.09 times faster than the AES,thus more suitable for replacing the AES to protect data transmitted between a cloud system and its users.展开更多
BACKGROUND Minimally invasive surgery had been tailored to individual cases of gastric subepithelial tumors(SETs)after comparing the clinical outcomes of endoscopic resection(ER),laparoscopic resection(LR),and hybrid ...BACKGROUND Minimally invasive surgery had been tailored to individual cases of gastric subepithelial tumors(SETs)after comparing the clinical outcomes of endoscopic resection(ER),laparoscopic resection(LR),and hybrid methods.AIM To study the use of Goldilocks principle to determine the best form of minimally invasive surgery for gastric SETs.METHODS In this retrospective study,194 patients of gastric SETs with high probability of surgical intervention were included.All patients underwent tumor resection in the operating theater between January 2013 and December 2021.The patients were divided into two groups,ER or LR,according to the tumor characteristics and the initial intent of intervention.Few patients in the ER group required further backup laparoscopic surgery after an incomplete ER.The patients who had converted open surgery were excluded.A logistic regression model was used to assess the associations between patient characteristics and the likelihood of a treatment strategy.The area under the curve was used to assess the discriminative ability of tumor size and Youden’s index to determine the optimal cut-off tumor size.RESULTS One-hundred ninety-four patients(100 in the ER group and 94 in the LR group)underwent tumor resection in the operating theater.In the ER group,27 patients required backup laparoscopic surgery after an incomplete ER.The patients in the ER group had small tumor sizes and shorter procedure durations while the patients in the LR group had large tumor sizes,exophytic growth,malignancy,and tumors that were more often located in the middle or lower third of the stomach.Both groups had similar durations of hospital stays and a similar rate of major postoperative complications.The patients in the ER group who underwent backup surgery required longer procedures(56.4 min)and prolonged stays(2 d)compared to the patients in the LR group without the increased rate of major postoperative complications.The optimal cut-off point for the tumor size for laparoscopic surgery was 2.15 cm.CONCLUSION Multidisciplinary teamwork leads to the adoption of different strategies to yield efficient clinical outcomes according to the tumor characteristics.展开更多

Furthermore, the distress (D) scale is thought to be influenced by mild neurological disorders, hand coordination problems, and environmental factors. In this study, we conducted a Star-Wave Test on 44 nursery school children in Japan and examined the M scale, the D scale, as well as the level of stress induced by coordination problems and the environment. The t-test was conducted on the M scale and D scale of the group without coordination problems and that with coordination problems, and we found a significant difference at 1% level. From this result, we can confirm the relationship of the M scale and the D scale with Visual and motor maturity.展开更多
BACKGROUND Paravalvular leak(PVL),also known as paravalvular prosthetic regurgitation,is not a rare complication after surgical valve replacement,and it may cause varying degrees of heart failure.The transcatheter clo...BACKGROUND Paravalvular leak(PVL),also known as paravalvular prosthetic regurgitation,is not a rare complication after surgical valve replacement,and it may cause varying degrees of heart failure.The transcatheter closure of PVL is technically demanding and challenging.CASE SUMMARY A 68-year-old man presented with degenerative mitral regurgitation with heart failure,New York Heart Association functional class 3.He received bioprosthetic mitral valve replacement in December 2019.PVL was noted at the location of the aorto-mitral curtain in transesophageal echocardiography without signs of endocarditis or dehiscence of the bioprosthetic valve.Transseptal transcatheter closure of the mitral PVL was performed efficiently using the EchoNavigator virtual marker and Agilis NxT steerable introducer.CONCLUSION This case highlights that the EchoNavigator virtual marker and Agilis NxT steerable introducer can facilitate transseptal transcatheter closure of mitral PVL by reducing the procedure time and contrast media.展开更多
The aim of this study was to examine the inhibitory effect of acute oral chlorogenic acid (CGA) ingestion on increases in blood glucose levels following glucose tolerance testing. Ten healthy male adults (age: 25.9 ...The aim of this study was to examine the inhibitory effect of acute oral chlorogenic acid (CGA) ingestion on increases in blood glucose levels following glucose tolerance testing. Ten healthy male adults (age: 25.9 ± 5.4 years) participated in the study. Blood samples were collected from the antecubital vein of subjects following overnight fasting. After a 120-min rest, they were administered 75 g glucose and chlorogenic acid or placebo. The amount of chlorogenic acid administered (in the form of capsules) to the subjects was 0.1g per body mass. In addition, only capsules were ingested in placebo ingestion conditions. Blood samples were collected 4 times during the 120-min rest period at intervals of 30 min. Serum insulin and plasma glucose levels were analyzed. Serum insulin levels increased significantly at 30 min after glucose ingestion, and fixed until 120 min in both conditions. Plasma glucose level increased significantly at 30 min after glucose ingestion, followed by a slow decrease. In addition, no significant difference was found between the conditions in each parameter. In conclusion, acute oral chlorogenic acid ingestion may not inhibition blood glucose increase following glucose tolerance.展开更多

The need for effective strategies in regenerative medicine for the elderly is mo...Aging populations are increasing the incidence of age-related diseases, resulting in problems at the individual and socioeconomic level. The need for effective strategies in regenerative medicine for the elderly is more important than ever. Previous studies have shown that the number and function of stem cells decline with age, thereby undermining endogenous repair processes. It has also been suggested that the aging-induced deterioration of stem cell function may play a key role in the pathophysiology of various aging-related diseases. Recent advances in our understanding of tissue regeneration and the development of methods aimed at inducing and differentiating pluripotent stem cells for cell replacement therapy which provides exciting opportunities for the treatment of degenerative diseases, such as those related to senility. In this review article, we examine several mechanisms that are believed to contribute to the aging-related dysfunction of stem cells associated with diseases of the immune system, cardiac tissue, neuronal system, articular cartilage, and skeletal muscle. We also discuss factors that affect the therapeutic potential of adult stem/progenitor cells as well as current trends in the treatment of these conditions using regenerative medicine.展开更多
This study aimed to examine the effect of L-ornithine hydrochloride ingestion on lipid oxidation during submaximal endurance exercise following resistance exercise. Ten healthy young male adults with no history of reg...This study aimed to examine the effect of L-ornithine hydrochloride ingestion on lipid oxidation during submaximal endurance exercise following resistance exercise. Ten healthy young male adults with no history of regular resistance exercise (age: 26.0 +/- 4.4) conducted resistance exercise after L-ornithine hydrochloride or placebo ingestion (0.1 g/kg). Subjects exercised for 60 min on an ergometer at 50% VO2peak 120 min after resistance exercise. Plasma ornithine concentrations measured immediately, 120min and 180min after resistance exercise in the L-ornithine hydrochloride ingestion condition were significantly greater than those in the placebo condition. No significant difference was found in serum growth hor mone concentrations between both conditions (F = 4.4, p = 0.065). Serum free fatty acid concentrations were significantly greater immediately after submaximal ergometer bicycle exercise in both conditions than those before ingestion, immediately after resistance exercise and 120min after resistance exercise (F = 43.4, p .001, 300% - 508%), but no significant difference was found between both conditions (F = 3.6, p = 0.090). A similar trend was observed in serum ketone bodies as well. Although total energy production during submaximal ergometer exercise did not significantly differ (t = 0.74, p = 0.238), a significant difference was found in energy production via carbohydrate and lipid oxidation;the former was greater in the Lornithine hydrochloride ingestion condition (t = 1.89, p = 0.046, d = 0.44, 106%), and the latter was greater in the placebo condition (t = 1.89, p = 0.046, d = 0.78%, 145%). From the above, L-ornithine hydrochloride ingestion may not affect lipid metabolism during submaximal endurance exercise following resistance exercise. It may be involved in energy production via carbohydrate oxidation with glucogenic amino acid.展开更多

Two stages of changes in the pattern of wavenumber-versus-pressure plot were observed in most of the vibrational modes. The first stage of change is the kink in the slope of wavenumber-versus-pressure plot at about 14 GPa, indicating a change in the force constant of modes. Further compression up to 21 GPa causes the splitting in the S-O stretching modes, representing the distortion of SO4 tetrahedron. The behavior of transition observed in PbSO4 is similar to that of BaSO4 as well as those found in the solid solution series of BaSO4-SrSO4. Transitions taking place at higher pressure for anglesite is due to the relatively greater value of electronegativity for Pb2+, as compared with M2+ in other complex compounds of similar structure.展开更多

A new three-step relaxed hybrid steepest-descent method for this class of variational inequalities is introduced.Strong convergence of this method is established under suitable assumptions imposed on the algorithm parameters.
文摘The developmental maturity (M) scale using the Star-Wave Test that was independently developed by Yalon and Zion indicates poor learning abilities if the M-scale score is low, which may be caused by developmental delays, such as intellectual disability and learning disorder or organic mental disorder. Furthermore, the distress (D) scale is thought to be influenced by mild neurological disorders, hand coordination problems, and environmental factors. In this study, we conducted a Star-Wave Test on 44 nursery school children in Japan and examined the M scale, the D scale, as well as the level of stress induced by coordination problems and the environment. The t-test was conducted on the M scale and D scale of the group without coordination problems and that with coordination problems, and we found a significant difference at 1% level. From this result, we can confirm the relationship of the M scale and the D scale with Visual and motor maturity.
文摘BACKGROUND Paravalvular leak(PVL),also known as paravalvular prosthetic regurgitation,is not a rare complication after surgical valve replacement,and it may cause varying degrees of heart failure.The transcatheter closure of PVL is technically demanding and challenging.CASE SUMMARY A 68-year-old man presented with degenerative mitral regurgitation with heart failure,New York Heart Association functional class 3.He received bioprosthetic mitral valve replacement in December 2019.PVL was noted at the location of the aorto-mitral curtain in transesophageal echocardiography without signs of endocarditis or dehiscence of the bioprosthetic valve.Transseptal transcatheter closure of the mitral PVL was performed efficiently using the EchoNavigator virtual marker and Agilis NxT steerable introducer.CONCLUSION This case highlights that the EchoNavigator virtual marker and Agilis NxT steerable introducer can facilitate transseptal transcatheter closure of mitral PVL by reducing the procedure time and contrast media.
文摘The aim of this study was to examine the inhibitory effect of acute oral chlorogenic acid (CGA) ingestion on increases in blood glucose levels following glucose tolerance testing. Ten healthy male adults (age: 25.9 ± 5.4 years) participated in the study. Blood samples were collected from the antecubital vein of subjects following overnight fasting. After a 120-min rest, they were administered 75 g glucose and chlorogenic acid or placebo. The amount of chlorogenic acid administered (in the form of capsules) to the subjects was 0.1g per body mass. In addition, only capsules were ingested in placebo ingestion conditions. Blood samples were collected 4 times during the 120-min rest period at intervals of 30 min. Serum insulin and plasma glucose levels were analyzed. Serum insulin levels increased significantly at 30 min after glucose ingestion, and fixed until 120 min in both conditions. Plasma glucose level increased significantly at 30 min after glucose ingestion, followed by a slow decrease. In addition, no significant difference was found between the conditions in each parameter. In conclusion, acute oral chlorogenic acid ingestion may not inhibition blood glucose increase following glucose tolerance.
文摘Aging populations are increasing the incidence of age-related diseases, resulting in problems at the individual and socioeconomic level. The need for effective strategies in regenerative medicine for the elderly is more important than ever. Previous studies have shown that the number and function of stem cells decline with age, thereby undermining endogenous repair processes. It has also been suggested that the aging-induced deterioration of stem cell function may play a key role in the pathophysiology of various aging-related diseases. Recent advances in our understanding of tissue regeneration and the development of methods aimed at inducing and differentiating pluripotent stem cells for cell replacement therapy which provides exciting opportunities for the treatment of degenerative diseases, such as those related to senility. In this review article, we examine several mechanisms that are believed to contribute to the aging-related dysfunction of stem cells associated with diseases of the immune system, cardiac tissue, neuronal system, articular cartilage, and skeletal muscle. We also discuss factors that affect the therapeutic potential of adult stem/progenitor cells as well as current trends in the treatment of these conditions using regenerative medicine.
文摘This study aimed to examine the effect of L-ornithine hydrochloride ingestion on lipid oxidation during submaximal endurance exercise following resistance exercise. Ten healthy young male adults with no history of regular resistance exercise (age: 26.0 +/- 4.4) conducted resistance exercise after L-ornithine hydrochloride or placebo ingestion (0.1 g/kg). Subjects exercised for 60 min on an ergometer at 50% VO2peak 120 min after resistance exercise. Plasma ornithine concentrations measured immediately, 120min and 180min after resistance exercise in the L-ornithine hydrochloride ingestion condition were significantly greater than those in the placebo condition. No significant difference was found in serum growth hor mone concentrations between both conditions (F = 4.4, p = 0.065). Serum free fatty acid concentrations were significantly greater immediately after submaximal ergometer bicycle exercise in both conditions than those before ingestion, immediately after resistance exercise and 120min after resistance exercise (F = 43.4, p .001, 300% - 508%), but no significant difference was found between both conditions (F = 3.6, p = 0.090). A similar trend was observed in serum ketone bodies as well. Although total energy production during submaximal ergometer exercise did not significantly differ (t = 0.74, p = 0.238), a significant difference was found in energy production via carbohydrate and lipid oxidation;the former was greater in the Lornithine hydrochloride ingestion condition (t = 1.89, p = 0.046, d = 0.44, 106%), and the latter was greater in the placebo condition (t = 1.89, p = 0.046, d = 0.78%, 145%). From the above, L-ornithine hydrochloride ingestion may not affect lipid metabolism during submaximal endurance exercise following resistance exercise. It may be involved in energy production via carbohydrate oxidation with glucogenic amino acid.
文摘High-pressure Raman spectroscopic experiments of anglesite, PbSO4, were carried out in a diamond anvil cell up to about 35 GPa at room temperature. Two stages of changes in the pattern of wavenumber-versus-pressure plot were observed in most of the vibrational modes. The first stage of change is the kink in the slope of wavenumber-versus-pressure plot at about 14 GPa, indicating a change in the force constant of modes. Further compression up to 21 GPa causes the splitting in the S-O stretching modes, representing the distortion of SO4 tetrahedron. The behavior of transition observed in PbSO4 is similar to that of BaSO4 as well as those found in the solid solution series of BaSO4-SrSO4. Transitions taking place at higher pressure for anglesite is due to the relatively greater value of electronegativity for Pb2+, as compared with M2+ in other complex compounds of similar structure.

文摘Within a Pekeris-type approximation to the centrifugal term, we examine the approximately analytical scattering state solutions of the l-wave Schrdinger equation with the modified Rosen–Morse potential. The calculation formula of phase shifts is derived, and the corresponding bound state energy levels are also obtained from the poles of the scattering amplitude.
