One of the most effective methods for sand control is the chemical consolidation of sandstone structures.In this paper,the impacts of crude oil and brine in the static state and the impact of the flow rates of the flu...One of the most effective methods for sand control is the chemical consolidation of sandstone structures.In this paper,the impacts of crude oil and brine in the static state and the impact of the flow rates of the fluids in the dynamic state have been assessed at the reservoir conditions.The analyses in this research were Young’s modulus,compressive strength,porosity,and permeability which were done on core samples after and before fluid contact.Samples made with two different resins showed good resistance to crude oil in both states.No considerable change was seen in the analyses even at high crude oil injection rates in the dynamic state.Conversely,brine caused a noticeable change in the analyses in both states.In the presence of brine at the static state,Young’s modulus and compressive strength respectively decreased by 37.5%and 34.5%for epoxy cores,whereas these parameters respectively reduced by 30%and 41%for furan cores.In brine presence at the dynamic state,compressive strength reduction was 10.28 MPa for furan and 6.28 MPa for epoxy samples and their compressive strength reached 16.75 MPa and 26.54 MPa respectively which are higher than the critical point to be known as weak sandstone core.Moreover,Young’s modulus decrease values for furan and epoxy samples were respectively 0.37 GPa and 0.44 GPa.Therefore,brine had a more destructive effect on the mechanical characteristics of samples in the static state than the dynamic one for two resins.In addition,brine injection increased permeability by about 13.6%for furan and 34.8%for epoxy.Also,porosity raised by about 21.8%for furan,and 19%for epoxy by brine injection.The results showed that the chemical sand consolidation weakens in the face of brine production along with crude oil which can lead to increasing cost of oil production and treating wellbore again.展开更多

Among the methods for evaluating dependability criteria (Fault Trees, Petri Nets, etc.), we are interested in queues that have the advantage of taking into account functional dependencies, thus allowing a quantified optimization of maintenance. Indeed, queues make it possible to model parallel or sequential processes, implementing operations taking place at the same time or one after the other, meeting the needs of modeling production systems. In this work,the effect of ammonium sulfate on the adsorption characteristics of low-concentration Pb(Ⅱ)ions on the sulfidized hemimorphite surface was comprehensively investigated.The results showed that ammonium su...In this work,the effect of ammonium sulfate on the adsorption characteristics of low-concentration Pb(Ⅱ)ions on the sulfidized hemimorphite surface was comprehensively investigated.The results showed that ammonium sulfate could increase the maximum recovery of hemimorphite from 69.42%to 88.24%under a low concentration of Pb(Ⅱ)ions.On the hemimorphite surface pretreated with ammonium sulfate,the adsorption of Pb(Ⅱ)ions was enhanced and the main species of Pb adsorbed was changed from Pb―O/OH to PbS.This was due to the larger amount of ZnS providing more effective adsorption sites for Pb components to generate Pb S.Meanwhile,the intensity of ZnS decreased with the formation of PbS,demonstrating that ZnS was covered by PbS which formed later on the mineral surface.It was beneficial for the adsorption of butyl xanthate on the hemimorphite surface to form more hydrophobic substances.As a result,ammonium sulfate played a crucial role in realizing the efficient recovery of hemimorphite.展开更多
Hydrogels exhibit potential applications in smart wearable devices because of their exceptional sensitivity to various external stimuli.However,their applications are limited by challenges in terms of issues in biocom...Hydrogels exhibit potential applications in smart wearable devices because of their exceptional sensitivity to various external stimuli.However,their applications are limited by challenges in terms of issues in biocompatibility,custom shape,and self-healing.Herein,a conductive,stretchable,adaptable,self-healing,and biocompatible liquid metal GaInSn/Ni-based composite hydrogel is developed by incorporating a magnetic liquid metal into the hydrogel framework through crosslinking polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)with sodium tetraborate.The excellent stretchability and fast self-healing capability of the PVA/liquid metal hydrogel are derived from its abundant hydrogen binding sites and liquid metal fusion.Significantly,owing to the magnetic constituent,the PVA/liquid metal hydrogel can be guided remotely using an external magnetic field to a specific position to repair the broken wires with no need for manual operation.The composite hydrogel also exhibits sensitive deformation responses and can be used as a strain sensor to monitor various body motions.Additionally,the multifunctional hydrogel displays absorption-dominated electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding properties.The total shielding performance of the composite hydrogel increases to~62.5 dB from~31.8 dB of the pure PVA hydrogel at the thickness of 3.0 mm.The proposed bioinspired multifunctional magnetic hydrogel demonstrates substantial application potential in the field of intelligent wearable devices.展开更多

Effectively strengthening the surface sulfidation is essential for recovering hemimorphite by froth flotation.In this work,inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES)measurements,Visual MINTEQ ca...Effectively strengthening the surface sulfidation is essential for recovering hemimorphite by froth flotation.In this work,inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES)measurements,Visual MINTEQ calculation,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analysis,time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(ToF-SIMS)analysis,and micro-flotation experiments were explored to systematically investigate the effect of ammonium sulfate((NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4))on the formation of zinc sulfide species on hemimorphite surface and its role in sulfidation flotation.The results showed that(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)exhibited a positive influence on hemimorphite sulfidation flotation.It was ascribed to the number of zinc components in the form of Zn^(2+)and[Zn(NH_(3))_(i)]^(2+)(i=1–4)increased in the flotation system after hemimorphite treatment with(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4),which was beneficial to its interaction with sulfur species in solution,resulting in a dense and stable zinc sulfide layer generated on the hemimorphite surface.[Zn(NH_(3))_(i)]^(2+)participated in the sulfidation reaction of hemimorphite as a transition state.In addition the sulfidation reaction of hemimorphite was accelerated by(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4).Thus,(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)presents a vital role in promoting the sulfidation of hemimorphite.展开更多

The aim of the present study is to evaluate a plasmid DNA immunization system that expresses the FMDV/OflRN/2007 VP1 gene and compare it with the conventional inactivated vaccine in an animal model. The VP1 gene was sub-cloned into the unique Kpn I and BamH I cloning sites of the peDNA3.1+ and pEGFP-N1 vectors to construct the VPI gene cassettes. The transfected BHKT7 cells with sub-cloned pEGFP-N1-VP1 vector expressed GFP-VP1 fusion protein and displayed more green fluorescence spots than the transfected BHKT7 cells with pEGFP-N1 vector, which solely expressed the GFP protein. Six mice groups were respectively immunized by the sub-cloned pcDNA3.1+-VP1 gene cassette as the DNA vaccine, DNA vaccine and PCMV-SPORT-GMCSF vector (as molecular adjuvant) together, conventional vaccine, PBS (as negative control), pcDNA3.1+ vector (as control group) and PCMV-SPORT vector that contained the GMCSF gene (as control group). Significant neutralizing antibody responses were induced in the mice which were immunized using plasmid vectors expressing the VP1 and GMCSF genes together, the DNA vaccine alone and the conventional inactivated vaccine (P〈0.05). Co-administration of DNA vaccine and GMCSF gene improved neutralizing antibody response in comparison with administration of the DNA vaccine alone, but this response was the most for the conventional vaccine group. However, induction of humeral immunity response in the conventional vaccine group was more protective than for the DNA vaccine, but T-cell proliferation and IFN-? concentration were the most in DNA vaccine with the GMCSF gene. Therefore the group that was vaccinated by DNA vaccine with the GMCSF gene, showed protective neutralizing antibody response and the most Thl cellular immunity.展开更多

Preliminary application studies indicated that the synthesized microspheres adsorbed double-stranded DNAs(dsDNAs) comprising A-T base pairs in pH7.4 phosphate buffered saline, and the adsorption capacity was in a range of 3.28 mg to 5.58 mg per gram PVDAT@PS microspheres depending on A-T base pair percentage and chain length of the dsDNAs.展开更多

Optimization reactions were performed for pH, temperature and concentration. Biodistribution of the tracer was studied in normal and fibrosarcoma bearing mice. At the optimized conditions, ITLC showed that radiochemical purity was over 97% with a specific activity of 2.22× 103MBq ·mmol-1·L-1. This was kept unchanged even with presence of human serum as well as room temperature for 5 h. Biodistribution of the tracer in fibrosarcoma bearing mice demonstrated significant tumor uptake after 2 h. This tracer can be used in the detection of various tumors responding to doxorubicin chemotherapy using PET scan and/or determination of tumor therapy response to doxorubicin chemotherapy.展开更多
[61Cu]-labeled pyruvaldehyde-bis(N-4-methylthiosemicarbazone) (61Cu-PTSM), a promising agent made for imaging blood perfusion, was produced via the natZn(p,x)61Cu nuclear reaction in a 30 MeV cyclotron, and separated ...[61Cu]-labeled pyruvaldehyde-bis(N-4-methylthiosemicarbazone) (61Cu-PTSM), a promising agent made for imaging blood perfusion, was produced via the natZn(p,x)61Cu nuclear reaction in a 30 MeV cyclotron, and separated by a two-step column chromatography method developed in our laboratory using a cation and an anion exchange resin. After 150 μA irradiation for 76 min, about 6.006 Ci of 61Cu2+ was obtained with a radiochemical separation yield of 95% and a radionuclidic purity of 99%. Cu-PTSM was prepared using an optimized method with 61 in-house synthesized PTSM ligand for radiolabeling following quality control procedures using RTLC and HPLC. The tracer is mostly incorporated in heart, kidneys and brain compared to free copper cation as a control. These are in agreement with former reports. In conclusion, [61Cu]-PTSM was prepared at the radiopharmaceutical scales with high quality and is a potential PET tracer in the perfusion study of the heart, kidney, brain and tumors.展开更多

This project was done to study the effects of supplementing the compost at casing with ground corn and soybean seed applied at: 0 gas control, 17, 34 and51 gper17 kgcompost on production and harvest quality of A. bisporus. There were significant differences between supplemented and non-supplemented substrates. The34 gsoybean and51 gcorn treatments had the highest yield. There were significant differences in quality indices of mushroom due to the type and amount of the supplement. The51 gsoybean supplement produced higher protein compared with other substrates. The highest vitamin C, total phenol, total soluble solids and antioxidant capacity obtained of 34 and51 gsoybeans or 34 and51 gcorn, respectively. Increased production and quality of A. bisporus may be achieved by addition of suitable amounts of supplements.展开更多

The framework is used for alloca...We present a novel system productivity simulation and optimization modeling framework in which equipment availability is a variable in the expected productivity function of the system. The framework is used for allocating trucks by route according to their operating performances in a truck-shovel system of an open-pit mine, so as to maximize the overall productivity of the fleet. We implement the framework in an originally designed and specifically developed simulator-optimizer software tool. We make an application on a real open-pit mine case study taking into account the stochasticity of the equipment behavior and environment. The total system production values obtained with and without considering the equipment reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) characteristics are compared. We show that by taking into account the truck and shovel RAM aspects, we can maximize the total production of the system and obtain specific information on the production availability and productivity of its components.展开更多

Seed watermelon kernel is a typical complex food with high fat and protein contents.During storage and processing,it is often affected by various factors to undergo interactions between components,which lead to its qu...Seed watermelon kernel is a typical complex food with high fat and protein contents.During storage and processing,it is often affected by various factors to undergo interactions between components,which lead to its quality change.In this experiment,seed watermelon kernels were used as research objects,and the effects of 2-Azobis(2-amidinopropane)dihydrochloride(AAPH)on seed watermelon kernel protein isolates(WMP)were investigated.The structure and digestion characteristics of WMP after oxidation were studied.The results showed that with the increase of AAPH concentration(0.05−5 mol/L),WMP showed obvious aggregation,and its solubility decreased from 6.76 mg/mL to 9.59 mg/mL.The free sulfhydryl content of WMP was 18.24 mmol/g decreased to 11.25 mmol/g,α-helix decreased andβ-sheet decreased in secondary structure,and its disulfide bond increased by 43.06 mmol/g from 39.57 mmol/g,enthalpy(H)and denaturation temperature increased(Td)(P<0.05).By mass spectrometry results of simulated gastric digestion products,it was found that oxidation adversely affected the digestion characteristics of WMP.It can be seen that the lipid oxidation product APPH of seed watermelon kernel can significantly affect the structure and function of the protein extracted from the seed kernel.展开更多

A single pure solid solution phase with R3c space group can be formed in the composition range of x ≤0 4. A specimen with x =0 3 possesses a maximum ionic conductivity which reaches up to 1 03×10 -2 s/cm at 723 K and the activation energy is 29 63 kJ/mol.展开更多

It was separated from the irradiated target material by two ion exchange chromatography steps with a radiochemi...Co-55 (t1/2=17.53 h) was produced by 150 μA irradiation of a natural nickel target using 15 MeV protons. It was separated from the irradiated target material by two ion exchange chromatography steps with a radiochemical yield of >95% and was used for the preparation of [55Co]vancomycin ([55Co]VAN). Optimization studies were per- formed using Co-57 due to its longer half-life. Cobalt-57 (t1/2=271.79 d) was produced by irradiation of a natural nickel target with 150 μA current of 22 MeV protons. The 57Co was separated from the irradiated target material using a no-carrier-added method with a radiochemical yield of >97%. Both products were controlled for radionuclide and chemical purity. The solutions of [55Co]VAN were prepared (radiochemical yield>80%) starting with 55Co acetate and vancomycin at room temperature after 30 min. A precise solid phrase extraction (SPE) method was developed using Si Sep-Pak in order to purify/reconstitute the final formulation for animal studies. [55Co]VAN showed a radiochemical purity of more than 99%. The resultant specific activity was about 1.15 TBq/mmol. It is proved that the tracer is stable in the final product and in presence of human serum at 37°C up to 24 h. Biodistribution study of [55Co]VAN in normal rats was undertaken for up to 72 h.展开更多

文摘This study synthesised a zincic salt(ZS)as a depressant for marmatite-galena separation.The effect of ZS on the flotation of marmatite and galena was investigated through micro-flotation tests.88.89%of the galena was recovered and 83.39%of the marmatite was depressed with ZS dosage of 750 mg·L^(−1)at pH=4.The depression mechanism of ZS on marmatite was investigated by a variety of techniques,including adsorption measurements,Fourier transform infrared(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic(XPS)analysis,and time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(ToF-SIMS).Results of adsorption tests and FTIR reveal that ZS adsorbed on marmatite surface and impeded the subsequent adsorption of butyl xanthate(BX).The results of XPS and ToF-SIMS indicate that the ZnO_(2)^(3-)released by ZS could be chemisorbed on the marmatite surface and depress marmatite flotation.

文摘In this work,the effect of ammonium sulfate on the adsorption characteristics of low-concentration Pb(Ⅱ)ions on the sulfidized hemimorphite surface was comprehensively investigated.The results showed that ammonium sulfate could increase the maximum recovery of hemimorphite from 69.42%to 88.24%under a low concentration of Pb(Ⅱ)ions.On the hemimorphite surface pretreated with ammonium sulfate,the adsorption of Pb(Ⅱ)ions was enhanced and the main species of Pb adsorbed was changed from Pb―O/OH to PbS.This was due to the larger amount of ZnS providing more effective adsorption sites for Pb components to generate Pb S.Meanwhile,the intensity of ZnS decreased with the formation of PbS,demonstrating that ZnS was covered by PbS which formed later on the mineral surface.It was beneficial for the adsorption of butyl xanthate on the hemimorphite surface to form more hydrophobic substances.As a result,ammonium sulfate played a crucial role in realizing the efficient recovery of hemimorphite.

文摘Hydrogels exhibit potential applications in smart wearable devices because of their exceptional sensitivity to various external stimuli.However,their applications are limited by challenges in terms of issues in biocompatibility,custom shape,and self-healing.Herein,a conductive,stretchable,adaptable,self-healing,and biocompatible liquid metal GaInSn/Ni-based composite hydrogel is developed by incorporating a magnetic liquid metal into the hydrogel framework through crosslinking polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)with sodium tetraborate.The excellent stretchability and fast self-healing capability of the PVA/liquid metal hydrogel are derived from its abundant hydrogen binding sites and liquid metal fusion.Significantly,owing to the magnetic constituent,the PVA/liquid metal hydrogel can be guided remotely using an external magnetic field to a specific position to repair the broken wires with no need for manual operation.The composite hydrogel also exhibits sensitive deformation responses and can be used as a strain sensor to monitor various body motions.Additionally,the multifunctional hydrogel displays absorption-dominated electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding properties.The total shielding performance of the composite hydrogel increases to~62.5 dB from~31.8 dB of the pure PVA hydrogel at the thickness of 3.0 mm.The proposed bioinspired multifunctional magnetic hydrogel demonstrates substantial application potential in the field of intelligent wearable devices.

文摘The effect of N_(2)discharge products on cyclohexane degradation over a MnO_(2)/γ-Al_(2)O_(3)catalyst has been evaluated by feeding N_(2)discharge products to the catalyst using a specially designed dielectric barrier discharge reactor.At a reaction temperature of 100℃,the cyclohexane conversion increased from 2.46%(without N_(2)discharge products)to 26.3%(with N_(2)discharge products).N-and O-containing by-product(3,4-dehydroproline)was found on the catalyst surface using gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry identification,in which C=N–C and C=N–H bonds were also confirmed from x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis results.Operando analysis results using diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy revealed that N atoms can react with surface H_(2)O possibly to NH and OH reactive species that have reactivities to promote CO oxidation to CO_(2).The mechanism of N-atom-driven cyclohexane degradation to CO and CO_(2)is proposed.
文摘Evaluating the reliability of a system requires knowledge of the failure modes to which it is subjected. Complex topology systems generally require a high level of availability, which is a function of the arrangement of elements (components) in the system. To avoid serious failures for such complex systems, recourse can be had to the redundancy techniques available in the literature. These techniques help to improve system reliability, without affecting the reliability of system components. This paper is interested in the proposal of a model for evaluating the failure rate of a standby multi-components system and in improving the reliability of mechanical systems, arranged in a topology (series, parallel, or mixed).

文摘Effectively strengthening the surface sulfidation is essential for recovering hemimorphite by froth flotation.In this work,inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer(ICP-OES)measurements,Visual MINTEQ calculation,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analysis,time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry(ToF-SIMS)analysis,and micro-flotation experiments were explored to systematically investigate the effect of ammonium sulfate((NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4))on the formation of zinc sulfide species on hemimorphite surface and its role in sulfidation flotation.The results showed that(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)exhibited a positive influence on hemimorphite sulfidation flotation.It was ascribed to the number of zinc components in the form of Zn^(2+)and[Zn(NH_(3))_(i)]^(2+)(i=1–4)increased in the flotation system after hemimorphite treatment with(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4),which was beneficial to its interaction with sulfur species in solution,resulting in a dense and stable zinc sulfide layer generated on the hemimorphite surface.[Zn(NH_(3))_(i)]^(2+)participated in the sulfidation reaction of hemimorphite as a transition state.In addition the sulfidation reaction of hemimorphite was accelerated by(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4).Thus,(NH_(4))_(2)SO_(4)presents a vital role in promoting the sulfidation of hemimorphite.
文摘Foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) is highly contagious and responsible for huge outbreaks among cloven hoofed animals. The aim of the present study is to evaluate a plasmid DNA immunization system that expresses the FMDV/OflRN/2007 VP1 gene and compare it with the conventional inactivated vaccine in an animal model. The VP1 gene was sub-cloned into the unique Kpn I and BamH I cloning sites of the peDNA3.1+ and pEGFP-N1 vectors to construct the VPI gene cassettes. The transfected BHKT7 cells with sub-cloned pEGFP-N1-VP1 vector expressed GFP-VP1 fusion protein and displayed more green fluorescence spots than the transfected BHKT7 cells with pEGFP-N1 vector, which solely expressed the GFP protein. Six mice groups were respectively immunized by the sub-cloned pcDNA3.1+-VP1 gene cassette as the DNA vaccine, DNA vaccine and PCMV-SPORT-GMCSF vector (as molecular adjuvant) together, conventional vaccine, PBS (as negative control), pcDNA3.1+ vector (as control group) and PCMV-SPORT vector that contained the GMCSF gene (as control group). Significant neutralizing antibody responses were induced in the mice which were immunized using plasmid vectors expressing the VP1 and GMCSF genes together, the DNA vaccine alone and the conventional inactivated vaccine (P〈0.05). Co-administration of DNA vaccine and GMCSF gene improved neutralizing antibody response in comparison with administration of the DNA vaccine alone, but this response was the most for the conventional vaccine group. However, induction of humeral immunity response in the conventional vaccine group was more protective than for the DNA vaccine, but T-cell proliferation and IFN-? concentration were the most in DNA vaccine with the GMCSF gene. Therefore the group that was vaccinated by DNA vaccine with the GMCSF gene, showed protective neutralizing antibody response and the most Thl cellular immunity.

文摘To take advantage of the polymer's special properties, we synthesized PVDAT coated polystyrene(PVDAT@PS) microspheres through semi-continuous precipitation polymerization, and demonstrated the possibility of controlling the size of microspheres by using different sized PS cores. Mechanism of the microsphere synthesis was investigated. Preliminary application studies indicated that the synthesized microspheres adsorbed double-stranded DNAs(dsDNAs) comprising A-T base pairs in pH7.4 phosphate buffered saline, and the adsorption capacity was in a range of 3.28 mg to 5.58 mg per gram PVDAT@PS microspheres depending on A-T base pair percentage and chain length of the dsDNAs.
文摘This work was conducted for radiolabeling of an anticancer antibiotic, i.e. doxorubicin with 61Cu for production of possible tracer used in PET oncology. 61Cu was prepared with natural zinc target and 22 MeV150 μA protons via natZn(p, xn)61Cu reaction with a yield of 123.2 MBq·μA-1·h-1. Optimization reactions were performed for pH, temperature and concentration. Biodistribution of the tracer was studied in normal and fibrosarcoma bearing mice. At the optimized conditions, ITLC showed that radiochemical purity was over 97% with a specific activity of 2.22× 103MBq ·mmol-1·L-1. This was kept unchanged even with presence of human serum as well as room temperature for 5 h. Biodistribution of the tracer in fibrosarcoma bearing mice demonstrated significant tumor uptake after 2 h. This tracer can be used in the detection of various tumors responding to doxorubicin chemotherapy using PET scan and/or determination of tumor therapy response to doxorubicin chemotherapy.
文摘[61Cu]-labeled pyruvaldehyde-bis(N-4-methylthiosemicarbazone) (61Cu-PTSM), a promising agent made for imaging blood perfusion, was produced via the natZn(p,x)61Cu nuclear reaction in a 30 MeV cyclotron, and separated by a two-step column chromatography method developed in our laboratory using a cation and an anion exchange resin. After 150 μA irradiation for 76 min, about 6.006 Ci of 61Cu2+ was obtained with a radiochemical separation yield of 95% and a radionuclidic purity of 99%. Cu-PTSM was prepared using an optimized method with 61 in-house synthesized PTSM ligand for radiolabeling following quality control procedures using RTLC and HPLC. The tracer is mostly incorporated in heart, kidneys and brain compared to free copper cation as a control. These are in agreement with former reports. In conclusion, [61Cu]-PTSM was prepared at the radiopharmaceutical scales with high quality and is a potential PET tracer in the perfusion study of the heart, kidney, brain and tumors.
文摘Supplementation of substrate at casing to increase the yield and quality of mushroom [Agaricus bisporus (Lange) Sing] is an important practice in commercial production of white button mushroom. This project was done to study the effects of supplementing the compost at casing with ground corn and soybean seed applied at: 0 gas control, 17, 34 and51 gper17 kgcompost on production and harvest quality of A. bisporus. There were significant differences between supplemented and non-supplemented substrates. The34 gsoybean and51 gcorn treatments had the highest yield. There were significant differences in quality indices of mushroom due to the type and amount of the supplement. The51 gsoybean supplement produced higher protein compared with other substrates. The highest vitamin C, total phenol, total soluble solids and antioxidant capacity obtained of 34 and51 gsoybeans or 34 and51 gcorn, respectively. Increased production and quality of A. bisporus may be achieved by addition of suitable amounts of supplements.
文摘We present a novel system productivity simulation and optimization modeling framework in which equipment availability is a variable in the expected productivity function of the system. The framework is used for allocating trucks by route according to their operating performances in a truck-shovel system of an open-pit mine, so as to maximize the overall productivity of the fleet. We implement the framework in an originally designed and specifically developed simulator-optimizer software tool. We make an application on a real open-pit mine case study taking into account the stochasticity of the equipment behavior and environment. The total system production values obtained with and without considering the equipment reliability, availability and maintainability (RAM) characteristics are compared. We show that by taking into account the truck and shovel RAM aspects, we can maximize the total production of the system and obtain specific information on the production availability and productivity of its components.

This need leads the authors to consider the formation of dynamic virtual organizations tailored to each particular abuse case. In the authors' approach the partner selection of these collaborative networks is done through a software tool that combines two technologies from the field of artificial intelligence, specifically multi-agent systems and expert systems. In addition, these partners come from the breeding environment constituted by all the agencies or individuals, either in a region or locality, which have the potential of response.
文摘This study investigates the effect of injecting nanofluids containing nano-SiO_2 as drag reducing agents(DRA) at different concentrations on the pressure drop of air-water flow through horizontal pipe.The test fluid used in this study was air-water with nano-SiO_2 particles at 0.1%-1%mass concentration.The test sections of the experimental set-up were five pipes of the same length of 9 m with ID from 0.0127m-0.03175m(0.5 to 1.25 in).Airwater flow was run in slug flow regime under different volumetric flow rates.The results of drag reduction(η%)indicated that the addition of DRA could be efficient up to some dosage.Drag reduction performed much better for smaller pipe diameters than it did for larger ones.For various nanosilica concentrations,the maximum drag reduction was about 66.8%for 0.75%mass concentration of nanosilica.

文摘Seed watermelon kernel is a typical complex food with high fat and protein contents.During storage and processing,it is often affected by various factors to undergo interactions between components,which lead to its quality change.In this experiment,seed watermelon kernels were used as research objects,and the effects of 2-Azobis(2-amidinopropane)dihydrochloride(AAPH)on seed watermelon kernel protein isolates(WMP)were investigated.The structure and digestion characteristics of WMP after oxidation were studied.The results showed that with the increase of AAPH concentration(0.05−5 mol/L),WMP showed obvious aggregation,and its solubility decreased from 6.76 mg/mL to 9.59 mg/mL.The free sulfhydryl content of WMP was 18.24 mmol/g decreased to 11.25 mmol/g,α-helix decreased andβ-sheet decreased in secondary structure,and its disulfide bond increased by 43.06 mmol/g from 39.57 mmol/g,enthalpy(H)and denaturation temperature increased(Td)(P<0.05).By mass spectrometry results of simulated gastric digestion products,it was found that oxidation adversely affected the digestion characteristics of WMP.It can be seen that the lipid oxidation product APPH of seed watermelon kernel can significantly affect the structure and function of the protein extracted from the seed kernel.
文摘Natural layered aluminosilicate Kaolinite Al 4[Si 4O 10 ](OH) 8 has been used as a starting material for preparing a new system of lithium fast ion conductors by high temperature(1073—1223 K) solid state reactions. X ray powder diffraction and a.c. impedance technique were used to characterize the compositions of the Li 1+2 x Al x Zr 2- x Si x P 3- x O 12 system. A single pure solid solution phase with R3c space group can be formed in the composition range of x ≤0 4. A specimen with x =0 3 possesses a maximum ionic conductivity which reaches up to 1 03×10 -2 s/cm at 723 K and the activation energy is 29 63 kJ/mol.

文摘Co-55 (t1/2=17.53 h) was produced by 150 μA irradiation of a natural nickel target using 15 MeV protons. It was separated from the irradiated target material by two ion exchange chromatography steps with a radiochemical yield of >95% and was used for the preparation of [55Co]vancomycin ([55Co]VAN). Optimization studies were per- formed using Co-57 due to its longer half-life. Cobalt-57 (t1/2=271.79 d) was produced by irradiation of a natural nickel target with 150 μA current of 22 MeV protons. The 57Co was separated from the irradiated target material using a no-carrier-added method with a radiochemical yield of >97%. Both products were controlled for radionuclide and chemical purity. The solutions of [55Co]VAN were prepared (radiochemical yield>80%) starting with 55Co acetate and vancomycin at room temperature after 30 min. A precise solid phrase extraction (SPE) method was developed using Si Sep-Pak in order to purify/reconstitute the final formulation for animal studies. [55Co]VAN showed a radiochemical purity of more than 99%. The resultant specific activity was about 1.15 TBq/mmol. It is proved that the tracer is stable in the final product and in presence of human serum at 37°C up to 24 h. Biodistribution study of [55Co]VAN in normal rats was undertaken for up to 72 h.
