The angular distributions of CO^+ from the dissociation of CO2^2+ and CO2^+ in intense femtosecond laser fields (45 fs, about 5 × 10^15 W/cm^2) are studied at a laser wavelength of 800nm based on the time-of-flight mass spectra of CO^+ fragment ions. The experimental results show that structural deformation occurs in the charge state of CO2^2+ and the CO^+ maintains linear geometrical structure. 展开更多

A doubly resonant ZnGeP2 (ZGP) optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a novel Tm,Ho:GdVO4 laser was demonstrated. Cryogenic Tin(5 at.-%), Ho(0.5 at.-%):GdVO4 laser with high pulse repetition frequency... A doubly resonant ZnGeP2 (ZGP) optical parametric oscillator (OPO) pumped by a novel Tm,Ho:GdVO4 laser was demonstrated. Cryogenic Tin(5 at.-%), Ho(0.5 at.-%):GdVO4 laser with high pulse repetition frequency (PRF) of 10 kHz at 2.05 μm was employed as pumping source of ZGP OPO. The 15-mm-long ZGP crystal, 55° cut for I-type phase-matching with low absorption coefficient less than 0.05 cm^-1 at 2 μm, was placed in a piano-piano cavity with resonator length of 30 mm. The ZGP OPO generated a total combined output power of 1.2 W at 3.75 and 4.52 μm under pumping power of 5.3 W, corresponding to slope efficiency of 40% from incident 2μm laser power to midinfrared (Mid-IR) output. A widely tunable range from 3.0 to 6.5 μm was achieved by changing the crystal angle only 3.5°. 展开更多

A laser diode (LD) cladding-pumped cw Tm^3+ -doped silica fibre amplifier is reported that provides up to 3 W output with the slope efficiency nearly 30%. The gain fibre is 27.5/400μm D-shaped Tm^3+ -doped silica double- cladding fibre, and the input signal sources is an LD-pumped Tm^3+:YAP lasing at 1.99μm. The measured amplified spectrum only stretches a little relative to the input signal spectrum. This is the first report to the authors' knowledge of general experimental investigation of cladding-pumped Tm^3+ -doped fibre amplifier of high power cw at 1.99μm. 展开更多

The wavelet power system short term load forecasting(STLF) uses a mulriple periodical autoregressive integrated moving average(MPARIMA) model to model the mulriple near periodicity, nonstationarity and nonlinearity existed in power system short term quarter hour load time series, and can therefore accurately forecast the quarter hour loads of weekdays and weekends, and provide more accurate results than the conventional techniques, such as artificial neural networks and autoregressive moving average(ARMA) models test results. Obtained with a power system networks in a city in Northeastern part of China confirm the validity of the approach proposed. 展开更多
