Among these, personal types should be paid more attention to since different personalities mean different learning styles, and different learning styles lead to different levels of proficiency. The present study tries to explore the personal types in terms of extroversion and introversion of the students majoring in physical culture. However, after incomplete lesions, the effect of treadmil training has been debated, which is likely because of the difficulty of separating spontaneous stepping from specific training-induced effects. In this study, rats with moderate spinal cord contusion were sub-jected to either step training on a treadmil or used in the model (control) group. The treadmil training began at day 7 post-injury and lasted 20 ± 10 minutes per day, 5 days per week for 10 weeks. The speed of the treadmil was set to 3 m/min and was increased on a daily basis according to the tolerance of each rat. After 3 weeks of step training, the step training group exhibited a sig-nificantly greater improvement in the Basso, Beattie and Bresnahan score than the model group. The expression of growth-associated protein-43 in the spinal cord lesion site and the number of tyrosine hydroxylase-positive ventral neurons in the second lumbar spinal segment were greater in the step training group than in the model group at 11 weeks post-injury, while the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor protein in the spinal cord lesion site showed no difference between the two groups. These results suggest that treadmil training significantly improves functional re-covery and neural plasticity after incomplete spinal cord injury.展开更多

Our subjects were two world elite 2009 and two Algerian national elite 2013. In the lack of new technology Modem measuring instruments kinematics or kinetics, our study based in measure of the Phase distribution ratio as measure of Stride length Jump distance. That literature review two schools, the Russian technique (which emphasizes the hop phase) and the Polish technique (which emphasizes the jump phase). Our aims for this study are: Are there any statistically significant differences between the results of the samples in the distance achieved? Are there any statistically significant differences between practical Ratio relative distances (world 2009-national 2013)? Are there any statistically significant differences between Stride length phase distances (world 2009-national 2013)? For that, we have chosen the analysis of variance and correlation of the distances achieved in each of the phases with the official distance of jumper and "T" student to compare implementation distribution of phases (hop, step and jump) with the results accuses. Based on the practices and weaknesses of elites in practice, we confirm: (1) All the samples practice the Russian technique as model in the distribution of the phase ratio; (2) The problem of our elites is in the hop phase distribution and its relationship with other phases; (3) Improve achieve horizontal vertical velocity in hop phase as solution.展开更多

Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the adaptation in the relationship between the visual information and the body sway in older adults. Fifteen older (70 ± 7.6 years) and 15 younger adults (19 ± 1.1 years) stood upright inside of a moving room. Each participant performed 7 trials, each lasting 60 s, in which in the first 3 trials the room oscillated at 0.2 Hz, amplitude of 0.6 cm, and peak-to-peak velocity of 0.6 cm/s. In the fourth trial, the room oscillated at 0.2 Hz but with amplitude of 3.5 cm and peak-to-peak velocity of 3.5 cm/s. In the following 3 trials, the room oscillated with the same parameters of the first three trials. Body sway magnitude was examined through mean sway amplitude, and the relationship between visual information and induced body sway was examined through coherence and gain. Visual manipulation induced corresponding body sway in both older and younger adults, with no difference being observed between groups in the first three trials. In the fourth trial, mean sway amplitude, coherence and gain values were higher for the older compared to younger adults. Moreover, in the last three trials, older adults still showed higher gain values than observed for the younger adults. Taken together, these results suggest that older adults adapt to abrupt changes in visual cues, but not with the same magnitude as younger adults. Yet, older adults do not take advantage of experienced sensory changes in order to adapt the use of the vision information in the following experiences, indicating the less capability of adaptation to the sensory changes.展开更多

In addition, although vBMD has undeniable advantages, the most sophisticated dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) instrument is not able to measure the bone volume in vivo. Therefore, they attempted to use weight-standardized bone mineral content (wBMC) to replace vBMD for osteoporosis diagnosis, such missed diagnosis or misdiagnosis may be avoided.展开更多

The authors have nicely shown the tumor markers in tuberculous pleural effusion (TPE) differ significantly from those in malignant pleural effusion (MPE) especially when detected in pleural fluid, and there is still no single tumor marker with high sensitivity and specificity in differential diagnosis of pleural effusion (such as TPE and MPE); the combined detection of tumor markers can improve diagnostic sensitivity. Therefore, the authors explored the differential diagnostic value of five tumor markers.展开更多
