文摘Rod milling sand(RMS)—a coarse sand aggregate—was recycled for cemented paste backfill(CPB)for the underground mined area at the Jinchuan nickel deposit, named rod milling sand-based cemented paste backfill(RCPB).The adverse effects of coarse particles on the transportation of CPB slurry through pipelines to underground stopes resulting in weakening of the stability of the backfill system are well known. Therefore, sulfonated naphthalene formaldehyde(SNF)condensate was used for the performance improvement of RCPB.The synergistic effect of solid content(SC),lime-to-sand ratio, and SNF dosage on the rheological and physicomechanical properties, including slump, yield stress, bleeding rate, uniaxial compressive strength(UCS),as well as mechanism analysis of RCPB,have been explored. The results indicate that the effect of SNF on RCPB performance is related to the SNF dosage,lime-to-sand ratio, and SC.The slump of fresh RCPB with 0.1wt%-0.5wt%SNF increased by 2.6%-26.2%,whereas the yield stress reduced by 4.1%-50.3%,indicating better workability and improved cohesiveness of the mix.The bleeding rate of fresh RCPB decreased first and then rose with the increase of SNF dosage, and the peak decrease was 67.67%.UCS of RCPB first increased and then decreased with the increase of SNF dosage. At the optimal SNF addition ratio of 0.3wt%,the UCS of RCPB curing for 7,14 and,28 d ages increased by 31.5%,28.4%,and 29.5%,respectively.The beneficial effects of SNF in enhancing the early UCS of RCPB have been corroborated. However, the later UCS increases at a slower rate. The research findings may guide the design and preparation of RCPB with adequate performance for practical applications.

文摘The frictional strength and sliding stability of faults are crucial in interpreting earthquake mechanisms and cycles.Herein,we report friction experiments on basalt fractures, using a self-designed triaxial apparatus that allows direct shear of samples under coupled hydro-mechanical conditions.Velocitystepping(VS)and slide-hold-slide(SHS)experiments are performed on both bare and gouge-bearing surfaces of Xiashan basalt subjected to cyclic shear velocities at 1e30 mm/s,effective normal stresses of 1e5 MPa,and pore pressures of 70e300 kPa.The measured basalt friction coefficients are in the range of 0.67e0.74,which is sensitive to gouge thickness, normal stress, and water.Specifically,a reduction in friction coefficient is observed with an increment in gouge thickness, normal stress, and pore pressure.Based on the microscopic observation of the pre-and post-shearing sliding surfaces, this weakening effect in friction coefficient can be attributed to powder lubrication.Furthermore, the VS test results reveal predominantly velocity-strengthening behavior at investigated slip velocities, and this velocity strengthening behavior does not appear to be influenced by variations in normal stress, gouge thickness, and water. However, changes in sliding velocity and normal stress can lead to a shift between stable and unstable sliding.Specifically, stable sliding is favored by high sliding velocities and low normal stress applied in this study. Finally,we analyze the experimental data by calculating the rate-and-state parameters using the rate-and state-dependent friction(RSF)theory.Importantly, the calculated friction rate parameter(a-b)supports the velocity-strengthening behavior. Both frictional relaxation(Dmc)during hold periods and frictional healing(Dm)upon re-shearing are linearly proportional to the logarithmic hold time, which may be attributed to the growth in true contact area with hold time. This study sheds light on the roles of sliding velocity, and gouge thickness in controlling frictional strength and stability of basalt fractures.

文摘In this paper,we mainly study the global rigidity theorem of Riemannian submanifolds in space forms.Let Mn(n≥3)be a complete minimal submanifold in the unit sphere Sn+p(1).Forλ∈[0,n2−1/p),there is an explicit positive constant C(n,p,λ),depending only on n,p,λ,such that,if∫MSn/2dM<∞,∫M(S−λ)n/2+dM<C(n,p,λ),then Mn is a totally geodetic sphere, where S denotes the square of the second fundamental form of the submanifold and∫+=max{0,f}.Similar conclusions can be obtained for a complete submanifold with parallel mean curvature in the Euclidean space Rn+p.

文摘Two(3+1)-dimensional shallow water wave equations are studied by using residual symmetry and the consistent Riccati expansion(CRE) method. Through localization of residual symmetries, symmetry reduction solutions of the two equations are obtained. The CRE method is applied to the two equations to obtain new B?cklund transformations from which a type of interesting interaction solution between solitons and periodic waves is generated.

文摘This study presents a visualized approach for tracking joint surface morphology.Three-dimensional laser scanning(3DLS)and 3D printing(3DP)techniques are adopted to record progressive failure during rock joint shearing. The 3DP resin is used to create transparent specimens to reproduce the surface morphology of a natural joint precisely. The freezing method is employed to enhance the mechanical properties of the 3DP specimens to reproduce the properties of hard rock more accurately.A video camera containing a charge-coupled device(CCD)camera is utilized to record the evolution of damaged area of joint surface during the direct shear test. The optimal shooting distance and shooting angle are recommended to be 800 mm and 40?,respectively.The images captured by the CCD camera are corrected to quantitatively describe the damaged area on the joint surface.Verification indicates that this method can accurately describe the total sheared areas at different shear stages. These findings may contribute to elucidating the shear behavior of rock joints.

文摘Three types of electrodeposition,DC electrodeposition,low-frequency pulsed electrodeposition and high-frequency pulsed electrodeposition, were used to deposit cuprous oxide on the concrete surface to improve the antibacterial properties of concrete. The effects of pulse deposition frequency on the antibacterial property of concrete were studied using sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB)and Escherichia coli(E.coli)as model bacteria. The bacterial concentration and the antibacterial rate were measured to evaluate the antibacterial performance of concrete. The effects of different deposition methods on the elemental content of copper and the amount of copper ions exuded were studied.XRD and SEM were used to analyze the microstructure of the deposited layers. The experimental results show that the concrete treated by electrodeposition exhibited good antibacterial properties against SRB and E.coli.The antibacterial effect of cuprous oxide deposited on concrete by pulse method was better than that by direct current(DC)method. The antibacterial rate of concrete was positively correlated with the exudation rate of copper ion.As the pulse frequency increased, the deposits content on the surface was increased with an accompanying improvement in the antibacterial property.Besides, the pulsed current had an indiscernible effect on the composition of the sediments, which were all mainly composed of Cu_(2)O,but the morphology of the Cu_(2)O differed greatly.Cubic octahedral cuprous oxide had better antibacterial properties with the highest copper ion leaching rate compared with cubic and spherical cuprous oxide.

文摘Two-order morphology of rock joints named as waviness and unevenness can be separated by morphology classification method, which plays a decisive role in the evolution of shear stress during the shear test. The joint morphology is obtained by using 3D printing and 3D laser scanning techniques and the joint model samples in two-order morphology are produced by cement mortar. Then, shear tests are performed under different normal loads. Results shows that the waviness is dominant in the total morphology during the shear test, and the shear contribution of unevenness mainly occurs in the climbing phase of shearing process.Comparing the failure modes of two-order morphology, waviness mainly embodies shear dilation characteristics and unevenness mainly shows shear wear characteristics.Based on this,a quantitative parameter is proposed to represent the ratio of the peak shear strength of the two-order morphology to that of total morphology. The functional relationship between the peak shear strength of total and two-order morphologies is determined, providing a theoretical method for further in-depth study on the shear strength of the interaction with two-order morphology of rock joints.

文摘Periodic solutions of the Zakharov equation are investigated.By performing the limit operationλ_(2l-1)→λ_(1)on the eigenvalues of the Lax pair obtained from the n-fold Darboux transformation,an order-n breather-positon solution is first obtained from a plane wave seed.It is then proven that an order-n lump solution can be further constructed by taking the limitλ_(1)→λ_(0)on the breather-positon solution, because the unique eigenvalueλ_(0)associated with the Lax pair eigenfunctionΨ(λ_(0))=0 corresponds to the limit of the infinite-periodic solutions.A convenient procedure of generating higher-order lump solutions of the Zakharov equation is also investigated based on the idea of the degeneration of double eigenvalues in multi-breather solutions.

文摘The fast proliferation of edge devices for the Internet of Things(IoT)has led to massive volumes of data explosion. The generated data is collected and shared using edge-based IoT structures at a considerably high frequency. Thus, the data-sharing privacy exposure issue is increasingly intimidating when IoT devices make malicious requests for filching sensitive information from a cloud storage system through edge nodes. To address the identified issue,we present evolutionary privacy preservation learning strategies for an edge computing-based IoT data sharing scheme. In particular,we introduce evolutionary game theory and construct a payoff matrix to symbolize intercommunication between IoT devices and edge nodes, where IoT devices and edge nodes are two parties of the game.IoT devices may make malicious requests to achieve their goals of stealing privacy.Accordingly, edge nodes should deny malicious IoT device requests to prevent IoT data from being disclosed. They dynamically adjust their own strategies according to the opponent's strategy and finally maximize the payoffs.Built upon a developed application framework to illustrate the concrete data sharing architecture,a novel algorithm is proposed that can derive the optimal evolutionary learning strategy.Furthermore,we numerically simulate evolutionarily stable strategies, and the final results experimentally verify the correctness of the IoT data sharing privacy preservation scheme. Therefore, the proposed model can effectively defeat malicious invasion and protect sensitive information from leaking when IoT data is shared.

文摘Three-dimensional(3D)printing technology is increasingly used in experimental research of geotechnical engineering.Compared to other materials,3D layer-by-layer printing specimens are extremely similar to the inherent properties of natural layered rock masses. In this paper,soft-hard interbedded rock masses with different dip angles were prepared based on 3D printing(3DP)sand core technology.Uniaxial compression creep tests were conducted to investigate its anisotropic creep behavior based on digital imaging correlation(DIC)technology. The results show that the anisotropic creep behavior of the 3DP soft-hard interbedded rock mass is mainly affected by the dip angles of the weak interlayer when the stress is at low levels. As the stress level increases, the effect of creep stress on its creep anisotropy increases significantly, and the dip angle is no longer the main factor. The minimum value of the long-term strength and creep failure strength always appears in the weak interlayer within 30°–60°,which explains why the failure of the layered rock mass is controlled by the weak interlayer and generally emerges at 45°.The tests results are verified by comparing with theoretical and other published studies. The feasibility of the 3DP soft-hard interbedded rock mass provides broad prospects and application values for 3DP technology in future experimental research.
